Quite and nice

It was nice for a quiet week in Vero. Beds were comfortable and house was clean. Fenced yard was great for the dog.

Very nice accommodations

Very comfortable house. Air conditioning worked great! You need it in the summer time for sure.House was well stocked. The Host had everything there just in case you may have not brought it with you. Neighbors were friendly. We love to walk even though it was hot. There were sidewalks on the A1A highway to keep safe from the road traffic. I would recommend this house and will stay there again.

Nice location. Serves its purpose.

Great house location. Short drive to public beach. Easy drive to city proper and shops at North Beach. House is fine. Serves its purpose. It could use some obvious updating to floors, bathrooms, etc. Second time staying at house so knew what it was like. Fine place to stay if just looking for a place to sleep and eat a late meal or 2.

vero pet friendly

house was nice with great backyard & screened porch for dogs and kids, clean, spacious…only recommendation would be to replace the carpets throughout with tile or hardwood flooring…would quickly make the home feel more open and updated as well as easier to maintain…very well stocked with utensils etc…..

Great neighborhood with easy access

Pleasant stay. Only negatives are very few tv stations and reception varied. And, detergent on sheets had strong flower aroma. Prefer detergent with no scent due to allergy sensitivity. Great space, well equipt kitchen, awesome backyard for our pooch.

Excellent host

Wonderful host with amazing communication. We had a very minor issue upon check in and the host was so helpful and took care of everything promptly. The house is very spacious and the screened in patio is such a nice addition. The host provides so many extra items such as nice beach chairs, wagon and umbrella to enjoy the beach, more than enough beach towels. It was so nice to not have to pack them! Everything is within great proximity of the house, it is in a wonderful location close to everything yet on a very private street. We enjoyed it so much we plan on booking again for our entire family for the holidays, considering the house is definitely big enough!

Comfortable Home

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean, comfortable and very spacious. Appreciated having room to spread out, esp with one of us working remotely. Nice areas to walk. An easy 1 mile walk to beach, Round Island Park and trails at Oyster Bar. Beach chairs and beach towels are provided. As others have noted it's a bit outdated, and if you want to watch any streaming services you'll need your password, no streaming are provided. We did not feel comfortable opening most of the windows because we didn't want lizards getting in due to loose screens. But AC works fine. Owner is responsive and very easy to deal with.

Good house. Served it's purpose.

Overall the location and size of the house worked just fine. The house is definitely dated. Thresholds of the floors are shot. Bathrooms are old. The air vents haven't been cleaned in years and and the ceiling/fixtures close to the vents are covered in dust/dirt. Dishwasher door is broken and almost touches the floor. The outside of the house is in major need of a power washing. Again, functionally, the house served it's purpose. Overall cleanliness and quality left a lot to be desired.

1st Annual Empty Nester Sisters Weekend

My sister and I both loved this home! It was way more house than we needed, but we enjoyed having our own space. It was exactly as it was described in the listing. Very well kept and cozy. My sister described it as calm and comforting. It doesn’t have the typical Florida home look of cold white tile floors, but instead has carpeting and vinyl flooring which made it feel more like home. The location is a few miles from the town of Vero Beach but also close to several beaches by car. It is on a secluded single road with a gate that requires a code to open. (Be sure you have that number handy before you get there). This made us feel safe and secure. This would be a great location for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation. There is no pool or hot tub but we weren’t needing that. The road to the home is off of Highway A1A so it’s not really good for people who like to go for casual walks. We walked on the beaches instead. Vero Beach is a beautiful town with friendly people. We loved it and would definitely rent here again!

We had a great three-week stay in this nicely appointed home. Convenient to the shops, restaurants, farmers' market, etc., on Ocean Drive. A nice uncrowded beach also is nearby. Margaret was a very welcoming and helpful host.
