Island Breeze es un bungalow de 2 dormitorios / 1 baño en la hermosa isla Nettles. Esta es la mejor forma de vivir en una isla, con una excelente decoración de playa, cocina completamente equipada, 2 salas de estar separadas, lavadora y secadora grandes y, por supuesto, sillas de playa y sombrillas. La isla está repleta de comodidades de todo tipo, que incluyen piscinas, jacuzzis, área de juegos para niños, mini golf, bola de salmuera, pesca, kayak, shuffleboard de tenis, solo por nombrar algunos. 3 day get away

Drove 1700 to buy a boat and needed a nice safe clean and homey place to live with our dog while traveling. Our cozy Nettles Island cottage was perfect in every way EVEN A GOLF CART! Thank you

An Island kept secret

We lived in FL for 30 years and never heard of Nettles Island. My brother found it in December and we decided to check it out on our way home from the Keys. The diversity of houses and the activities available was amazing. The friendliness of residents and the pet-friendly atmosphere was perfect.

Great resort activities

We walked in the house and immediately noticed the clutter, from baskets to extra furniture to too many knickknacks to dishes out on the table (for decoration). The love seat couch fabric was peeling apart (there was a cover but it partially covered the sofa.) we ended up covering the couch w sheets. The mattress in main bedroom is like a hammock makes you both slide down in the middle. Broken bar stool (back of it) Broken handle in shower . The shower still works just fine. The towel rack in shower fell twice w just a wash cloth on it. We killed a couple bugs in bathroom and kitchen. What we loved about this place. The response time to questions and requests. We appreciate that! The price! Plenty of TVs Laundry drier Snacks supplied in fridge and on counter … nice touch! We loved the resort activities, I think we used all of them (weight room, basketball courts, mini golf, tennis courts, ping pong table, pool table, pickle ball courts, shuffleboard) We loved how close we were to the beach.

Very disappointed

My stay at this property was terrible to say the least. I am a single mother, and I saved up to take my children on a nice vacation. The property looked beautiful online. When I arrived, everything seemed fine. I cooked dinner that night, and there were a few cockroaches on the counters. To be honest, I wanted to leave, but I didn’t have very many options, saying that I spent all my money on this property. Me and my children kept all of the lights on all night to dissuade the cockroaches from coming out. The next day everything seemed OK until I started cooking again at night, and now a baby cockroach came out. Not only was there one in the kitchen, but now we find one in the bathroom. I called to complain and got the owners number. I left a message with no response the first day. The next day and what would be our last night there she finally called back. She was very irate. I was just sharing with her that there was a bug problem and my girls were uncomfortable being there. She said she would give us our money back as we were not going to stay any longer and she was aware and acknowledged there is a bug Issue as she tried to take care of this in the past. I ended up getting a room after borrowing money from a friend after speaking to the owner, and being told, I would be getting a refund. Here we are a month later and no resolution. I’m very disappointed. I cannot get a phone call back or even a text. needless to say, I’m just truly upset.

Nettles Island Island Breeze

Overall, Elizabeth (owner) was very good at communication. The property was represented well, however the master bedroom had a very poor mattress and my wife hated it. The property was clean, but it could have used a deep cleaning of all the rooms. We did use their golf cart, but it did run out of charge. We were leaving the next day, so I left a note for owner. (we didn't recharge due to leaving next day and not wanting to leave it unattended)

Island breeze was a great rental for our family!

We had a nice time visiting my old childhood vacation destination for spring break. It was like a trip down memory lane and fun to show the kids where I grew up vacationing. Island breeze was perfect for our family! Very conveniently located close by to the rec hall, and the store.

I can see why there's so many high ratings!

This property and the owner were absolutely worth every single penny! The communication was phenomenal, the area was gorgeous, it was more sanitary and nicer than any hotel I've ever stayed at. I was nervous bringing two children under 3 years old but there were absolutely no issues. If you're considering this property, don't hesitate

Paradise Experience

This was our first stay at Nettles Island. We so enjoyed the place, it was perfect for what we were looking for. The house was really clean and stocked good. The use of the golf cart is recommended by me. It's nice to ride around and see all of the variety of places, all kept up to a high cleaning standard. The park is secured and safe, local restaurants are great !! We will be back ! A bonus was that I am from West Virginia, and my wife is from North Carolina. The place was on West Virginia Drive at the corner of North Carolina

Beautiful area

Nettles island and the surrounding area is beautiful. The cottage was nice and cozy. It could use some updates to the furniture and bathroom. Lots of snacks were left which was nice seeing as we didn’t get in until close to midnight. It was clean minus the remote to the living room had crumbs stuck to it. Clean dishes were still in the dishwasher upon our arrival. I had issues getting the key box to open. So had to call both owners but only got a voicemail and had to wait several minutes (it was close to midnight and I had my 8 yr old with me so it felt like an eternity after traveling most of the day) for a call back. That was super frustrating as was the lady I spoke with on the phone who didn’t offer any apologies just told me to keep trying then gave me access to a spare key. No one checked in the next day to apologize for all the hassle or offer an apologies. Which was disappointing. Overall my daughter and I had a nice stay.

Just a beautiful cottage

We were really impressed with the place that we rented this time , it was very Clean and very Comfortable. We hated that the weather on Christmas Day it was too cold to do anything outside activities bit we made the best of out visit and we got to meet the owners and they were very nice. We will stay at one of their places again.

Nettles Island

Nettles Island is a cute, maze like community. This unit was actually a 1 bedroom with small bunk beds on the enclosed porch. Living areas and kitchen were nice. Bring earplugs if your a lite sleeper. Lack of insulation and defective HVAC caused daytime temps inside to rise to high 80's making the visit miserable. Request for a discount was ignored by owners.

Great place to stay for my nephew's wedding over the weekend.

Clean. well decorated, every amenity you could ask for. It's a very unique community, friendly people. Great internet service. Very responsive manager. Would highly recommend this place.

Well Equipped and Accommodating

Elizabeth was a pleasure to deal with. She responded quickly, allowed us to check in early and when we decided we wanted to use her golf cart the last day it was no problem. The kitchen was well equipped, there were plenty of towels and though we did not need them there were beach chairs, umbrellas and toys. The whole family was happy with the property. Thank you!
