"We were in town for the CIF Southern Sectional track meet and needed a place to stay for 5 people. The Sandbox at Solimar Sands was perfect. The Unit was clean well stocked and just a pleasant place to relax and stay. It is steps from the beach, an easy walk downtown and an excellent location. I would definitely recommend staying here."

"Our family of four (including a one year old and three year old) stayed really comfortably between the two bedrooms. The living room / dinning area has a great amount of space to hangout in. We had more family staying in another unit and we mostly hung out in this unit for meals and movie time with that big comfy couch!"

"Mark was so easy to deal with. He answered all our questions promptly and his intro packet was very helpful. We stayed there almost three weeks. On our third day, the disposal stopped working. We notified Mark and the next day it was fixed. That was how easy it was to work with him. It was a great place tostay."

"We loved our stay, but upon arrival, the overwhelming smell of, perhaps, cleaning materials was awful. We opened windows to reduce the strong stench, but nothing helped. Once inside, we acclimated to the smell, but each time we left and returned, we were again hit with what I’d almost classify as a hazardous-materials smell. It wasn’t pleasant AT ALL! Once home, my clothes all wreaked of it. So strange! Also, while the place seemed clean & very nice, I question if the floors are mopped in...

"It was the perfect beach retreat for our old gals college reunion. Perfect view, steps from the beach, comfy beds and linens and everything you could need. Space was well designed for the size. Wonderfully located with walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Charming little town! Hope to return some day. Highly reccommend."

Kitchen was well appointed, but would have been a tight squeeze for dining (especially because it was a little too chilly to use the outside table). Place was spotless, well-appointed with towels and supplies, and thoughtfully designed to maximize the space. Easy walk into town for restaurants and wine, and to the ocean. "We love this house, the view and location and we had a great time. But, given the price, you expect the house to have decent furnishings. The rug downstairs was filthy and the upstairs couch was not clean and the house needs other updates. The house had been cleaned but the furnishings seemed overused and unclean. We hope the owners will inspect their property and refresh their furnishings because we would love to come back."
