Pretty House In Quiet And Traditional Neighborhood

This charming house offers all the comforts of modern living in a suffused historical atmosphere, it is a wonderful solution for family who want a marble and comfortable home in center of the city but in the same time in a peaceful and quiet area.

The apartment is very bright and spacious, at the ground floor it has an elegant and large living room, a very bright and functional modern kitchen and a luxury stylish bathroom. At the first floor there is a lovely and cozy bedroom with a king-size bed, another room with 2 single bed that could be attacked like a double bed and a modern and stylish bathroom. There's air conditioning in the sleeping area and central heating to ensure a comfortable stay.
Outside there's a patio with flowers and vegetables, in the middle you find a table where we recommend especially in the summer to eat in a quiet and typical background.

At 100 meters far from the house you will'be in front of the venetian lagoon, with its wealth of wildlife and natural species, seeing the many islands and the sinuous typical lagoon's 'barene' , reproduction area for hundreds of species of birds.

Nice house and a good value. Overall a good place to stay.

The property is nice and spacious for the money. It is also in a quiet, off the beaten path location, which we liked. The only real negatives about the property were a strong smoke odor in the upstairs (main bedroom) & the lack of any instruction book relative to the house. The odor was alleviated (not eliminated) by leaving windows open, but that resulted in more mosquitos. Regarding instructions, instead of a general information paper, there were (quite faded) notes taped to things such as the T-stats, fridge and router. Not a huge deal, though it caused us to go without hot water the second morning of our stay, as the note that should have been above the downstairs T-stat was in the kitchen next to the microwave. Since he didn’t see the note, my husband accidentally turned off the hot water when he attempted to activate the AC. We don’t have a boiler system in our home, so are not familiar with how it and the T-stat were related. Rita was very responsive & worked through the issue to restore the hot water, but we washed up in cold water that AM. The trash/recycling could be better explained too. We know that glass, plastic, tetra, tins, paper/cardboard are separated, but no mention about organic matter. So, we left it mixed in with other waste & put it out in a plastic bag the last day of our stay. We are very much on board with recycling at home & compost our organic matter, so we would have liked to be better informed vs. having to reach out for instructions.

Wunderbarer Urlaub in Venedig

für uns war das Häuschen genau das richtige. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Von Venedig waren wir begeistert. Sehr schönen und entspannten Urlaub gehabt. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Anfragen werden schnell beantwortet. Vielen Dank.

Perfetto

L’appartamento è grande, chiarissimo. Ha un bel giardino dove si può sedersi o mangiare. Si può vedere un bel tramonto a due passi. I due bagni sono moderni. La cucina ha tutto quello di qui si ha bisogno. Tanti restauranti accanto all appartamento. Si può venire a piedi dalla stazione in 10 minuti e senza avere un ponte con scalini a attraversare. Molto comodo con le valigie. L’unica cosa è che l’appartamento è un po’ lontano dal centro ma c’è il vaporetto vicino e che non ci sono supermercati vicini. Per il resto, è un posto meraviglioso e ci ritornerai subito.

Wonderful experience

An absolutely delightful house, spacious, comfortable and stylish with great outdoor space in a charming, authentic area, just a few steps from a busy, working canal that's constantly fascinating. It's away from the crowds and madness of parts of the city but just a few minutes walk from excellent restaurants and shops and with three vaporetto stops really close by including the one from the airport. Rita is a star host, unfailingly helpful and accessible at all times. Do ask for her recommendations and use them. I would unhesitatingly recommend this property.

We were very happy with this rental property. There was plenty of room and was just as described. We loved the location of this property. Easily accessible by water bus but in a lovely quiet are of Venice. We would highly recommend this property.

Super und ruhig gelegen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Im Haus ist alles da, was man braucht. Rita war immer erreichbar und hat, wenn nötig, geholfen, so gut sie konnte. Wo ich beim nächsten Venedigbesuch wohnen möchte, weiß ich schon: in diesem Häuschen.

Tranquillity in Cannareggio - would book again

In our attempt to get away from the tourist masses, we booked this house in Cannareggio. Rita and Elena were very helpful, arranging to meet us beforehand and keeping in touch on the day of our arrival. The house was very simple - with a mix of furniture past and present. The two baths and beds proved very handy especially when travelling with a teen. We didn’t use the garden because the weather was so-so. We found the house to be very conveniently located with plenty of bars on nearby Fondamenta degli Ormesini for cicchetti and a very nice Coop in Strada Nuova. The little shop/deli on the way to Guglie is also very nice and we did shop at the baker in the Ghetto. We travelled to Murano/Burano and the Biennale from the house. While it can feel like a trek for some, we were soooo very happy to get away from the selfie-stick crowd in the evening. I would wholly recommend this house if you are looking for somewhere quiet to stay in Venice and can be respectful of the neighbours in this corner of La Serenissima.

A bargain in a quiet sestiere close to everything and the parade of tourists if one chooses to join the crowd. All of Venice within a long walk or short vaporetto ride. Do not buy vaporetto deals on web. They must be validated before use, and the validation gismos are few and far between. Go to a tobacco shop and they have the same deals.

Peaceful Location, great if you want to avoid the crowds

Property is as advertised. It is well equipped and comfortable and feels very safe and secure. It’s a bit of a trek to the major attractions but quite close to the station and Guglie Bridge which has a busy shopping street nearby. Lots of reasonable restaurants on the Cannaregio Canal, very close to the house.

Great value!

Not the fanciest of properties, but a fabulous value. 2 bathrooms which meant one for my teenage daughters and one for my husband and me. Cloths washer on site. Good local restaurants and easy access water bus stops.

Quiet location and cool refuge in residential neighborhood

This is authentic Italian living in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is tucked back into a courtyard, off of the main street that is only accessible through two locked gates. So, we felt very safe. We never saw another neighbor or heard a peep from anyone at night when we were trying to sleep to get over jet lag. Wonderful to have air conditioning upstairs for the bedrooms during the hot summer. And, the extra fans downstairs which helped us recover from being out in the sun. Also, thick shutters helped to block out the light in the bedrooms, making it easier to sleep. Kitchen had basic supplies with a good refrigerator and small freezer. The living room furniture was unfortunately uncomfortable for us. Multiple water bus stops nearby made it very easy to get to other parts of the city. There were restaurant options close by and our favorite gelato stop. Grocery stores not far away either. Appreciated the washing machine and multiple drying racks that we could use in the courtyard. Great bathrooms and good, hot shower. So glad we chose this property over a hotel!
