The apartment is located in the Dorsoduro district, near the Guggenheim Museum, in a very elegant and quiet part of the city. The area is rich in restaurants, bars, antique shops, and art galleries. It also is full of museums: other than the Guggenheim, you have the Galleria dell’Accademia, the Palazzo Cini Gallery, Punta della Dogana, and the beautiful Basilica della Salute, which is traditionally celebrated by all Venetians on November 21st.

The closest waterbus stop is Salute, directly in front of the Basilica, between the stops of Accademia and San Marco. It is a strategic area to visit the city’s main attractions from.

Venice has six districts, known as “sestieri”. The district of Dorsoduro is often referred to as the “Miglio dei Musei”, the Museum Mile. This elegant part of the city, rich in art galleries and artisan shops and boutiques, hosts some of the most important museums in Venice: the Gallerie dell’Accademia, the Guggenheim Museum, the Cini Gallery, and Punta della Dogana.
The Fondamenta delle Zattere, overlooking the Giudecca canal and island, is a perfect promenade to take a stroll and experience some of the most beautiful sunsets, enjoying an aperitif on the water or a dinner in one of the many restaurants in the area.

Un emplacement idéal et tout ce qu'il faut pour etre comme chez soi

Je viens aussi souvent à Venise que je le peux et connais aussi bien qu'il m'est possible , mais cette fois ci j'etais le " guide" d'une amie parisienne amateur d'art comme moi ,Renaissance et contemporain . Avons passé une semaine inoubliable .Merci

Questo appartamento è molto comodo e ben collegato. In 4 persone è perfetto e i due bagni sono molto comodi. L'unico problema che credo sia però un problema comune a Venezia è l'odore che viene dagli scarichi che può essere davvero fastidioso. L'agenzia che lo gestisce è molto ben organizzata e la ragazza che ci ha accolto molto simpatica e di aiuto con i suoi consigli

Nice apartment !

Nice apartment in Dorsodoro. Short walk from the Academia vaporetto stop and only one bridge ! Lively neighborhood with shops and eateries. One quick turn off the main walkway, so it's quiet. The apartment was clean and simple. All the necessary appliances and utensils were available. My only complaint is the lack of drawer and shelf space. There are no cabinets or dressers in either bedrooms to place your folded clothes. So if you are planning to stay for more than a few nights plan to live out of your suitcase. Only one small shelf in the bathrooms for your toiletries . Not enough for us ladies ! Overall a nice apartment to stay in while visiting Venice.

Would stay here again

The property was well located in a quiet neighborhood near the Guggenheim. Plenty of little shops and very good neighborhood restaurants within short walking distance. It was clean and had everything we needed for a 4-day stay. Sophie met us at the Alilaguna sop at Zattere, and although it's a short walk, it wasn't easy hauling several large suitcases. We took the Alilaguna to the Zattere stop and it took about 1 hour 45 minutes to get there - several stops! But that was our choice because we didn't want to haul luggage on the bus. If I did it again, I would take a private taxi (land) to the Piazzale Roma and take the water bus from there to the Academia stop - apartment is a short walk from Academia. Overall, very pleased and would definitely stay there again.
