  • Venice-Flat is a spacious apartment located on the 4th floor (NO ELEVATOR) at
    spread over two levels, just a short walk from the Gallerie dell'Accademia delle Belle Arti in Venice. It consists of a spacious entryway and living room, two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two single beds), a living room with a double sofa bed, a kitchen, a full bathroom with a shower, and a separate bathroom with a toilet and sink. The apartment also features a spacious terrace with an awning and a panoramic view.

    It’s less than a 5-minute vaporetto ride to St. Mark’s Square and offers convenient access to various destinations in the heart of Venice. A five-minute walk takes you to Punta della Salute, a narrow triangular point separating the Grand Canal from the Giudecca Canal, overlooking St. Mark’s Basin.

    Given its location, the apartment is ideal for conveniently visiting the Gallerie dell’Accademia delle Belle Arti di Venezia, the Basilica della Salute, and the Guggenheim Gallery collection

    The apartment is situated in an ideal location, just a few hundred meters from Piazza San Marco, with easy access to public transportation and amenities. The apartment also boasts a panoramic view of the Basilica della Salute

    Beautiful location with super nice and helpful host!

    We had a wonderful stay in Venice! Sergio was very helpful with all of our questions, even helping us arrange water taxi and telling us best places to eat. The stairs are a bit daunting but worth it for the view.

    Fantastic choice

    We loved the location and the property. The property is located in a wonderful part of venice. Easy to get everywhere within a reasonable walk and far enough away you feel like you can relax from the oarge groups of people at st marks. Sergio takes great care of his property amd it was extremely clean. We loved relaxing on the private rooftop balcony in evenings. Extremely happy with the property.

    Effective property for our purposes. A little over a 5 minute walk from the Accademia bridge/dock at the edge of a touristy area, so quiet enough. 20 minute walk to St. Mark’s and 25 minutes from Piazzale Roma. It’s up 4 flights of stairs but nowhere is convenient for luggage in Venice .Appreciated the AC units throughout.

    Über den Dächern Venedigs

    Die Unterkunft ist typisch venezianisch und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Dachterrasse ist ein Traum, von da kann man wunderschöne Sonnenaufgänge genießen. Sergio ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Man kann wunderbar mit mehreren Personen im Apartment wohnen, ich selbst hatte den eine Etage höher gelegenen Bereich mit kleinem Bad und Zugang zur Terrasse gewählt. Absolut empfehlenswert!

    We received a warm welcome from our host Sergio when we arrived. He gave us an excellent recommendation for a restaurant not far from the flat. The food was delicious! We enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean and place was comfortable and relaxing to come back to after a full day of sightseeing. Enjoyed sitting out on the terrace to have our coffee and breakfast in the morning. There are many steps to get up to flat (60 steps) so small luggage is best. Thank you Sergio for being a part of our wonderful time in Venice!

    Rather old fashioned dark decor and big climb to flat no good canal view but enjoyed lovely roof top sunset Facilities very good. air conditioning and mosquito nets and fully equipped kitchen. Excellent location. Venice is v expensive but this was good value. Kind host who on website is reported to speak English but has none so some difficulties with check in when our flight wad delayed

    Property is good, but has 2x toilets and only 1x shower (not the ‘2 bathrooms’ advertised) Apartment is at the top of 4 flights of stairs , but is clean and quiet. Beds are ok, though not great. Dish washer and clothes washer work well. Local eating options are excellent, and the apartment is only 15 minutes walk from St Marks square

    I stayed with my 3 adult children and was there 3 weeks. I love that neighborhood as it is quiet and away from major crowds. The rooftop was really enjoyable. However the 4 flights of stairs were hard on my 67 year old body! They were very steep with lots of locks to manage. Washing machine was a challenge and the only advice from owner was to send me the operating manual in Italian (of course).

    Wonderful stay

    Sergio and Loreta were very responsive and helpful from the beginning. Communication was in Italian from their end, but Google translate came to the rescue. They provided clear directions as to how to get to the apartment from the train station. Check in was easy and they showed us all the necessary amenities that we might need in the apartment. The apartment was clean and spacious for our family of 5. The private terrace upstairs was a pleasant place with a beautiful view to have coffee or wine. We did laundry and used the large clothes rack, hangers and pegs. We did not cook, but noticed there were no condiments, only salt in the kitchen. The location is further south so getting to the islands in the north takes more time. But we liked that it was away from the crowds yet close enough to attractions. The area was quieter, except for a nearby bar where a noisy group hung out for a couple of nights, but the noise could be blocked out by the windows. Overall, Sergio and Loreta are great hosts and we had a wonderful and comfortable stay in their apartment.

    Sergio ist ein netter, zuvorkommender Gastgeber, mit dem man sich auch gut auf Deutsch verständigen kann. Die Wohnung ist für 2 Paare sehr gut geeignet; es könnten aber auch durchaus 6 Personen gut unterkommen - der 'Gemeinschaftsraum ist groß genug, an den runden Tisch passen 6 Stühle; die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Aufgrund der 2 Bäder (eines ohne Dusche, was aber keine Rolle spielt) kommt man sich zu viert auch nicht in die Quere. Der Blick von der Veranda über die Dächer von Venedig hinweg Richtug Guidecca ist ein Genuß, auch die Lage der Wohnung ist optimal.

    Kurzurlaub in Venedig

    Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt. Man sollte allerdings fit sein. Es sind sehr viel Stufen bis zur Wohnung was mit Gepäck etwas problematisch sein kann. Die Dachterrasse war super. Durch Flugverspätung kamen wir 4 Stunden später an. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich, allerdings war die Kommunikation etwas schwierig
