Accademia Terrazza - sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms

A very comfortable apartment only a stone’s throw from the Accademia Bridge, consisting of: 2 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom, 1 fold-out bed that can be placed in the living room, 2 bathrooms, 1 half-bath, a large living room, dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen that can seat up to 8 people.

There are two incredibly spacious terraces: one by the kitchen (ideal for outdoor breakfasts), and a larger one (120 square meters) by the living room, surrounded by many plants that guarantee privacy and shade during the hottest hours of the day. Tastefully decorated, the house presents antique furnishings and many glasswork pieces owned by the family for generations.

The location is perfect for visiting all the major Venetian museums, like the Guggenheim Collection, Gallerie dell’Accademia, Punta della Dogana, and smaller art galleries and shops. The area also presents a large supermarket (only a 10-minute walk from the house) and excellent walking distance Venetian restaurants.

The Accademia waterbus stop, only a few steps from the house, allows easy and quick connections to all the main attractions in the city.

CHECK-IN PROCEDURE

Check-in is normally scheduled from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and is free of charge until 8:00 PM; for arrivals between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM, there is an extra charge of €50.00, and for arrivals between 10:00 PM and 12:00 AM, the extra charge is €100.00. Arrivals between 12:00 AM and 9:00 AM are not accepted.

The Red House Company SRL organizes one check-in per rented apartment; any additional check-ins for other members of the group will incur a cost of €50.00 each.

Each guest staying in the apartment must present a valid identity document to the check-in agent in compliance with Italian legislation (art. 109 Regio Decreto 18.06.1931 Tulps).

It was the perfect location to stay in Venice. In the Dorsoduro, you're away from the crowds but within walking distance to the main sites, grocery stores, two vaporetta stops, and a beautiful church. The apartment has all of the necessities to cook and was amazingly comfortable and beautifully appointed. We would highly recommend it and would stay here again

Apartment is very central and the booking / check in process was seamless and very professional. However, the apartment itself is quite tired and the online photos are not representative of the quality of the furnishings. I booked it for a celebration weekend for four adults and the shabbiness of the apartment was quite apparent. We appreciate that Venice is … damp, and that it is hard to maintain properties, but things like door handles hanging off, kitchen cabinet doors being difficult to close, tiles missing and mould in the bathrooms, tiny showers etc should be more explicitly shown. We paid a LOT for a weekend, thinking the place would be lovely. The location is great and the service was faultless, but we would not recommend this as an apartment to rent for what we paid. We didn’t contact the letting agency while we were there as we were limited on time to move premises.

The location of this apartment is perfect. Close to the accademia bridge and vaporetto stops and also close to the Zattere and those vaporetto stops. Easy to get just about anywhere in Venice from here. Close to many wonderful local bars and restaurants We would stay here again.

Wonderful Home and Outstanding Host

We stayed here during our family visit to Venice and it was a magnificent experience. The home was beautiful, spacious and clean. The location was great and within a short walk to dining, shopping and water bus stops. Our host, Marco, was extremely helpful and went beyond expectations. He helped us with transportation and gave us a list of recommended local attractions. We were able to impress our friends who were there as a tour group. We would highly recommend this property if you have a large family planning to visit Venice!

Perfect location!

Marco's apartment is very well located to be close to all tourist centers and there is a small supermarket and restaurants just downstairs from the apartment. The accommodation was perfectly clean and Marco the property manager gave us good tips and he is very efficient. The large terraces are very pleasant (provide repellent for mosquitoes at this time there are many in Venice). We liked the atmosphere of the apartment, it made us feel like real Venetians in the 70s. The TV did not work and the wifi is a little weak, it did not bother me but my kids did ( soccer game !!!) I highly recommend this apartment and I and my family would definitely stay there again.

Truly a 5-star experience.

Our family of five adults thoroughly enjoyed this apartment. It was in a wonderful location with easy access to all we wanted to see and do. We consider ourselves very lucky to have found these accommodations. When we travel again to Venice, I would adjust our dates based solely on the availability of this apartment.

Wir waren beeindruckt von der persönlichen Atmosphäre der Wohnung, mit den Fotos der Familie, der Glass-Sammlung, den alten Möbeln, der Musik-Bibliothek. Antik wertvoll . Dazu aber modernes Bettzeug: hervorragende Matratzen, variable Kopfkissen. Wunderbare Handtücher. Wir haben uns den Bürgern von Venedig ganz nahe gefühlt in dieser individuellen Wohnung in diesem touristisch nicht überlaufenen Stadtteil. Kleine Anmerkung: die Duschköpfe in den Bädern sollten entkalkt werden. Die Funktionsfähigkeit ist eingeschränkt.

Great Stay in Venice

Stayed here with my wife and 4 children (teenagers). This was our 2nd time in Venice. This gave up plenty of space and bathrooms. The 2 terraces were lovely. Located in a less-busy part of Venice which is good for noise and traffic, but makes it a little further walk to get to some of our favorite places or tourist attractions. The air conditioning was great in all but the master bedroom, internet was splotchy and routers had to be reset a couple of times. There is a grocery store 15 yds from the building which was great. Would stay here again.

Awesome Stay

This property lived up to everthing that was described about it. As promised there was someone there to meet us on arrival at Accademia to begin our delightful stay in Venice. Fantastic location with excellent amenities that left you feeling you were right at home. A perfect quiet setting to have breakfast on one terrace and a glass of wine in the afternoon on the other terrace. A nearby grocery store that provided most of our necessities was a nice bonus!
