A great place for the whole family to be on the water!

We all thoroughly enjoyed everything Vashon has to offer. Great location on the water with gorgeous views to the east. The kitchen is well stocked and beds are comfortable. Fun for the whole family!

thank you for sharing this incredible slice of paradise with us. our stay was restful, totally comfortable, rejuvenating to body and soul, and memorable. the house was great, the hosts delightful, and the boat ride...an excellent added adventure! we enjoyed every moment of our stay, and only wish it could have been longer.

Perfect family getaway

Our kids and grandkids absolutely loved the home, surrounding property and community pool. The kitchen is over the top - great -and all the bedrooms and beds were super-comfortable. We intend to come back often.

Family Time

Superb accommodation!

We are nine friends who gather yearly from all over the country. This house was perfectly appointed and situated. We could hike, kayak, row, walk, eat and relax all right out the door or off the dock! A Lovely Place.

Vashon bliss

This has become our Vashon home away from home. We feel so comfortable at the Spano house and property. It is a great place for our large extended family to come together to soak up the beauty and peace of Vashon. Lots of space, all the amenities are there, access to the water and Burton Acres. All you could want in an island getaway.

Terrific location and homey "log cabin"

Situated between a waterfront park and a fantasy-inspiring forest, this is a perfect place for dogs and humans. We also liked having the roving deer visit the yard to share the bounties of the apple and plum trees.

Beautiful property

The home was built by the owner's father and the owner went to Vashon High School. This is a "real" Vashon experience with a lot of space and a lot of luxury.

The perfect setting for a family get together

We couldn't have asked for a better spot to spend a vacation with our kids and grandkids. The property was beautiful and the house well supplied with everything we needed for cooking, sleeping and playing! Thanks for sharing your home with us! We will be back next summer!

Outstanding!

We had a fantastic weekend with a large crew in this comfortable, clean, well supplied, well positioned house. Everyone had great fun lounging on the back patio, on the back lawn, and playing in kayaks and boats off the dock. Superb location, quiet but close to amenities. Owners were wonderful to work with. Everyone in our group agreed we would happily rent again.

Fantastic rental we had such fun

If you’re lucky enough to stay here, then good for you. George is great guy. My husband and I drove up from CA to visit our grown sons in Washington State for thanksgiving. It was wonderful.

The property is gorgeous. Stunning sunrise colors over the water. The house is even better than the pictures promise. Beautifully decorated, extremely spacious, very comfortable furniture, beds and bedding. Fully stocked kitchen was extremely handy, and made it feel like home. We had everything we needed and more in this home away from home. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful home, can't wait to go back

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are very comfortable and the common area kitchen and living room are wonderfully decorated. The kitchen was very easy to cook in. The lower floor air hockey table was especially fun for our kids. The dock is a great place to sit near sunset and there was always something to look at and enjoy the serenity of the property. We are looking forward to getting back soon. Thanks George for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

Amazing vacation house!

This house is wonderful! The waterfront location is idyllic and relaxing and the house itself is well-stocked and comfortable. We were there with 4 families and kids of many ages and we kept busy by walking to explore the nearby tide pools, cooking in the deluxe kitchen and playing with the fun water toys made available by the owners (yay for standup paddle boards!). Suzanne and George were responsive and friendly from start to finish. An excellent choice!

Spring Break

Our family had a wonderful time over spring break at this Quartermaster Harbor home. It was relaxing and we were amazed at how much room the house has. We had three adults and three children and there were still beds to spare. The weather was rainy some days but the kids loved the beach and could wade out into the mud at low tide and look for sea creatures. The serene nature of the surroundings were a delightful change from the busy city and we plan on comming back soon.

Great location and amenities.

The location of this property is beautiful right on the water and Easy to get to from West Seattle. For us with a boat, having the dock and mooring buoy was fabulous. They also provided water toys and everything you needed for cooking. The only improvement would be the checkout time at 10 AM is quite early and there were no fans or air conditioning for the hot weather. Overall this is a great vacation property and we would highly recommend it.

Spacious, well appointed, and great location

The whole extended family was happy and comfortable. Thank you for all of the seating and activities. We didn't want to leave. My 2 year old nephew decided it was his new home. The walking trail across the street from the end of the driveway was a great amenity to have so close.

Only one problem.....

we couldn't stay longer! The house and all amenities were beyond our expectations. The kids (13-7) were in heaven with all the water toys and a fantastic game room. All three boys (grandsons) want to live there! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need from flipping pancakes to BBQs on the patio. Comfortable beds and the bathrooms served 7 adults and three kids just fine. We will definitely go back. Best house we have rented on Vashon.

This property is a very special place.

This Vashon Island property is warm and cozy and incredibly inviting. It feels like a home, not a rental. The owner of this beautiful waterfront home was more than accommodating and was extremely helpful. George came personally to let us in early and the house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. I would love to come back in the summer and experience the water and all the activities that go with it. The property is maintained meticulously and very private. Great for families to get together and create memories. This home is a very special place.

Absolutely fabulous!

I could not have been happier with this property! It had everything... nice dock, nice beach front, nice fire pit, and a nice large patio with ample seating,. That’s just the outside! The interior of this home was beautifully decorated and well maintained with sweeping water views. George was fabulous to work with and his pride in his family home was evident. I’m just so happy that he is willing to share it on VRBO. It is totally worth the price!!! Karen Robinson and family Denver, CO
