Stylish Chalet "Obereggeralm" with Mountain View, Wi-Fi, Balcony & Garden

  • Above the village of Olang, with a view of the picturesque Pustertal, the chalet "Obereggeralm" welcomes you. The 120m² vacation apartment is located in a listed house from the 16th century and is furnished in alpine style with high-quality materials and lots of wood. It is spread over two floors and consists of an open living area, a very well equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, 3 bedrooms as well as 2 bathrooms and can accommodate 6 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, cable/satellite TV and a washing machine, while a baby crib and a high chair are available upon request. From the balcony you can enjoy the magnificent panoramic view and in the evening relax in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine to end the day. A garden with playground also belongs to the vacation apartment. The house is located directly on the ski slope in the ski area Kronplatz and is accessible all year round. Outside the ski season you can explore the area on numerous hiking trails. Due to its authentic cuisine, the Obereggeralm is a popular meeting place for hikers and skiers. The nearest supermarkets, bakeries and other stores are located in Olang, 5.6km away, which can be reached by car in 9 minutes.

Paradise in the mountains

From the welcoming & very clean home, to Alex and his wonderful and talented family, to some of the most incredible food we ever ate, our stay at this home was perfect and very hard to leave! We truly hope to be back one day!

Wow what an incredible place!

This is easily one of the best accommodations we've ever booked. The unit was exactly as described online, but even cozier and more beautiful in person. The location couldn't be better with true ski in, ski out access. Finally, the food that Alex prepares and brings up to the unit for breakfast/lunch/dinner is outstanding. We highly recommend!

Amazing Stay in the Mountains

If we could give more than 5 stars, we would! Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful chalet. The chalet was fully equipped and beautifully decorated with cozy places to relax and unwind. Alex and his family were amazing hosts, providing us with recommendations for places to go and delicious homemade treats. The location is off the beaten path - perfect if you're looking to explore without so many crowds.

Alles was geweldig! Fantastisch huis en omgeving!

Pros: Alles was fantastisch. De woning was zeer schoon, compleet ingericht en een geweldig uitzicht. De gastheer, gastvrouw en medewerkers van het restaurant waren zeer gastvrij. Ik kan iedereen dit verblijf aanraden! Cons: Het was echt perfect. Ik heb oprecht geen kritiek en wij hebben geen nadelen ervaren.

Perfectly Situated and Hosted Dolomites Escape

We spent 5 nights and days in this amazing property owned by a family of chefs, restauranteurs and farm owners. The host family could not have been more gracious or more helpful with helping to plan our daily hiking excursions with expert tips. The exquisitely renovated barn was a luxury to wake in and come home to in the afternoons and the views are unmatchable. The photos on VRBO are attractive and accurate, no doubt, but they can’t even fully demonstrate the beauty of the barn, both inside and out. This property would be perfect for a couple to get away or for a full family to relax and experience the Dolomites in its true remote and alpine beauty.

Wow just wow. This is a little slice of heaven. Our hosts were amazing, such kind people and they made our stay even better by just being a part of it! We hope to come back here sooner than later. The views are incredible, the area is filled with fun activities and we could barely pull ourselves away from the apartment. Perfect for our family of five. The kids thrived here. We are already missing it!

We arrived after a long drive and were immediately met by two impressive figures... the view of the Dolomites and Alex the owner. The view of the Dolomite is intimidating and awe inspiring. Alex is warm and generous.. the perfect host. The juxtaposition of the two figures was the backdrop of our entire stay. The warmth and cozyness of the chalet is a direct reflection of the proprietor and his family. Every detail is to perfection like German timepiece, yet inviting. So much so, my daughter slept 17 hours in the first 24 hours we were there... it just feels like... home. If you are seeking a world class view of the Dolomites out your front door and a bespoke experience from a world class proprietor, you found your place. I will be coming back. My only regret is that we booked 3 short nights.
