  • Stop in and feel free to hang up your coat. It's time to settle in on your stay near the mountain! This lovely, family-friendly condo is designed for comfort and includes amenities like a stone gas fireplace, a queen size sofabed, and tile work throughout both bathrooms. The fully equipped kitchen includes full sized appliances and granite countertops. Two guests can enjoy dinner at the dining table, and the breakfast bar seats two as well. That's to say nothing of the balcony, where two guests can sit comfortably and enjoy the view of the ski lift and mountains. Of course, guests of this condo will also be able to enjoy shared amenities such as the heated outdoor pool and three hot tubs during their stay.

    Of course, the biggest draw is the slopeside location for prime ski-in/ski-out access. The building features a front desk and concierge in main lobby, with the popular El Sabor restaurant, great for takeout or grab-and-go meals, just off the main lobby as well. On the first floor you'll find the business center, pool and hot tubs! Should you need ski gear, Charter Sports is right on the second floor, catering to skiers of all levels. Also on the second floor are coin operated washers and dryers. Off the property you'll find Vail General store and Lionshead Liquors just around the corner. All nearby Lionshead restaurants and shops are a short distance away for when you're not spending your time on the slopes. Adventure Ridge at the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola operates day and night, in both winter and summer, for unbeatable family fun!

Great Condo with a View

The property has a nice view and faces towards Gore creek, and the relaxing sound is great for sleeping. We were there in a heat wave, and the sun doesn't hit the windows and it stays quite cool and comfortable. We always enjoy the Lion Square Lodge, and it's great to have the Vacasa staff right there at the property.

Wonderful stay at Lions Square Lodge

We love Lionshead Village so this location was amazing. You walk out the door, down the hall and you are at all he Gondola as well as all of the shops and restaurants in the village. The condo was spacious, clean and well stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location - any season

This location was prefect. You can walk right over to the chair lift, sit on your own balcony over looking the mountain and small river. The hot tubs and heated pool were a perfect addition. Kitchen had everything we needed. This will be my go to unit when visiting vail again.

All around great place to stay.

The location is perfect for wandering around Lionshead and Vail Village. We were able to park the car and walk or take the shuttle bus all week. The room is comfortable and clean. We had everything (and then some) that we needed.

Location, Location, Location!!!

The convenience of ski-in, ski-out was what made this the perfect place to stay!! The lodge is very clean and comfortable and the concierge, Dana, was fabulous. She booked all of our transportation needs and restaurant reservations before we even arrived. Warm cookies in the afternoon - come on!!! The ski valet was convenient and free. The young man there was so polite and friendly every day!! Our condo was perfect, beautiful view.

Great place!!!

We have been coming up here for about 35 years!! We always ask for this unit because it has two baths and a great view!!! We have our favorite restuarants and places to shop. We started golfing a few years back we added that to our activities. we love it and the people at Lionhead have all ben great!!!

Great condo and location

I definitely recommend this place and hope to be back. This unit is part of Lion Square Lodge and it’s on the ground floor of the main building. It took just 3 mins to get from the condo door to the base of the gondola in Lionshead. The decor is nice, the wifi was fast and reliable, and there’s a balcony and lovely view of Gore Creek. The kitchen has decent cooking equipment but no supplies (oil, coffee filters, etc.). It comes with one parking space.

Overall this property was absolutely perfect for our 3 day ski trip. We would stay here again without hesitation. Some items to note: Cleanliness - The room was immaculate and everything was is great working condition. The bathroom showers were insanely clean and the room was like new. Room Location - The room was located in a perfect spot. It's on the 3rd floor, but this floor is actually the same level as the entry, front desk, restaurant and exit to the lifts. In other words, you don't have to go up and down stairs with your bags, skis, etc. The room is also far enough away from any common areas and we never heard a sound from doors closing, people talking, etc. Building Location - I always stay in ski-in/ski-out places, but this sets the bar for what a ski-in/ski-out place should be. From the room to the chair-lift took only 2 mins walk. Again, when geared up and walking to the lift, it was awesome to just leave the room, head down the hall and jump on the lift. Parking - When we were there, we didn't have any issue with parking. In fact, we parked right outside the entrance. Best of all, parking is free. Pull-out Sofa Bed: Saying the mattress is awful would be an understatement. The floor would be a better option. I highly recommend the owners to replace it if they are serious about this being a sleeping option. Even my son, who sleeps on anything, wouldn't even touch it. Main Bed - Super comfortable.

Overall this property was absolutely perfect for our 3 day ski trip. We would stay here again without hesitation. Best of all, parking is free. Main Bed - Super comfortable. Ski Rentals - We rented our skis at Charter, which is on the 2nd floor of the lodge. It doesn't get an easier than this. It was really nice to just head down a flight of stairs to get the skis and swap them out if need be. Additionally, the guys that run that location are insanely friendly and helpful. Amenities - I was surprised that the lodge had everything you'd expect from a hotel. Fresh cookies and coffee/tea. Concierge. A staffed front desk. Housekeeping if you need to freshen up the room, etc. The lodge also has complimentary shuttle service to Vail Village, if you'd like to head over there. This was much easier and more personal than taking the Vail bus. Oh, and the Mexican restaurant that is steps from the room is delicious! Cons: Pull-out Sofa Bed: Saying the mattress is awful would be an understatement. The floor would be a better option. I highly recommend the owners to replace it if they are serious about this being a sleeping option. Even my son, who sleeps on anything, wouldn't even touch it.
