Welcome to Westhaven 401A, brought to you by Mountain Vacation Lodging. This luxury penthouse level condo, with views of the Vail Ski Mountain, occupies the entire 4th floor of the Westhaven complex. You will enjoy the privacy of your own level and close proximity to the Cascade Lift, which is only about 200 meters from your door, a walk of just 2-3 minutes. There is almost never a line at this chairlift, meaning you can avoid the craziness & crowds of the two Gondolas, and you have easy ski access back to the condo via the "Cascade Way" ski trail - no need to ride a bus! There is also a great ski rental shop and ticket office at the base of Cascade, and they offer ski & boot storage to make the short walk to and from the condo walk even easier! When staying here you will have 2 King Suites, 1 Bunk room with 4 XL Full Beds, a gourmet kitchen, private top floor balcony with a gas grill, a gas fireplace, private washer and dryer, and the list goes on. The entry level of the building provides easy access from the temperature controlled garage, to the private ski lockers/boot dryers and on to the elevator. This unit is luxurious, accessible and easy to book!

Arrival, Access, and Parking:
– Accessing the Property – From the parking garage there are no stairs to enter the building on the B side of the building, which is an ADA compliant entrance. This unit is on the A side but can be accessed without stairs from the B side. There is an elevator that takes guests up to the private 4th floor.
– Parking – There are 2 assigned parking spaces in the temperature controlled garage. There is additional paid parking available in the Hyatt Regency garage via their valet service.
If guests need additional parking options, please contact us for more information.
– 4WD vehicle information – 4WD/AWD or vehicles with chains may be required to access this property when traveling during snow and winter weather conditions.

** Air Conditioning - Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning. During most hours of the day and weeks of the year, AC is not needed. Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.
** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.
** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property. For normal, respectful groups, we are sorry that these statements and measures are necessary. Security cameras and noise monitoring devices are an example and demonstration that the property's owners are taking steps to ensure the home remains available for rental, and in good condition, for your benefit. ** Cleaning Fees & Lengthy Rental Periods - The standard cleaning fee quoted as part of any booking is for the final cleaning, which is to be performed after the rental period has ended. For guests who are booking a lengthy stay of more than one week, a mid stay-cleaning fee equal to the final cleaning fee may apply for the second week, third week, and so on. Beautifully furnished condo with high end finishes. Well stocked kitchen. Very comfortable beds with high end linens. Nice view of mountain and Cascades Lift. Close to Lionshead and Vail Village using free Vail bus. Quick walk to Cascades lift (never a line). Host management was very good, great communication and reached out several time to check in. Our family of 4 skiing adults appreciated the ski locker set up and heated garage space.

Nice Mountain Retreat

Very nice place with high end furnishings and most all that you’d need. Overall, this really is a class place. There were minor maintenance issues which the staff addressed promptly. Recommend it highly.

Great location. Two minute walk, step into skis and ski right onto the Cascade lift where there is never a line. Same 2 minute walk to the free bus and a 4 minute ride to Lionshead or a couple more minutes to Vail Village. Photos make the unit look good, but it’s actually even nicer in person. Furniture is high quality. Very well maintained and updated too. Natural gas grill (no worries about running out of propane) and the igniters actually work on the first try. Two parking spots in the heated garage are literally 30 feet to the ski lockers with boot dryers and the elevator to this penthouse unit on its private floor. They even included 2 feet of fresh powder while we were there - no extra cost!

Exeptional experience

I had an exceptional experience with this apartment! Its prime location makes it ideal for family vacations, and the convenience of having the ski lift just a few minutes away without any lines is a major plus. Any concerns I had, particularly with one of the appliances, were promptly and efficiently addressed on the same day. I am truly impressed by the responsive and attentive service the owner and property management provide. Many thanks for ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay!
