Here at the Interlochen Townhomes, you'll be treated to a bright and open floor plan, a deck overlooking the banks of Gore Creek, and furnishings that were selected with rest and relaxation in mind. Enjoy an open kitchen, dining, and living area that's warmed by a wood stove, two queen bedrooms, and a double sofabed in the living room for additional sleeping space. You'll even have a private washer/dryer to refresh your snowy ski pants or dusty hiking socks each evening. A stop for the free Town of Vail bus is just steps away, easily connecting you to world-renowned skiing, diverse shops and restaurants, friendly neighborhoods, and breathtaking mountain views.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Overall we had a good stay. It was a quiet area and this unit is ground floor right on the creek.Few small things didn’t quite work right like porch light (dark porch with steps), a pile of old clothes left in the nightstand cabinet, and the mechanical keypad door lock will work if you’re patient learning the technique the first time.The place is old but cozy, with a few updates here and there. The entertainment area was well-stocked with movies, and Netflix available. Kitchen has lots of cooking supplies as well. Fridge & dishwasher were old but functional (no problems). Oven & microwave were updated. And had coffee maker, espresso machine, and a toaster. The toaster smoked though, so we didn’t use.We didn’t want to stay in the middle of Vail with all the hustle and noise, so this was a perfect location. And it’s in the building behind the building facing the freeway, so it’s blocked from most of the traffic noise. It’s a great place to relax and spread out if a few small flaws can be overlooked.

Eeek!

This property needs a deep cleaning. Found in the residence; 1 dead & decaying mouse on a sticky trap, a couple of other sticky traps (gross & inhumane) a dried up contact lens on the bathroom floor, a collection of years of dust & trapped items beside the washer/dryer, a low battery in the carbon monoxide detector (which beeped until I removed it from the wall) no batteries in the smoke detectors, and lots of dust… baseboards & corners were really dusty. I did reach out to the management & they offered to replace the batteries for the C0 & fire detectors.

Lackluster

Front door handle broke from unfit door.Had to leave via back door. We only had hot water on day one of our stay (from the 4pm checkin). I reached out about hot water heater not working, I was told to check for breaker box. I’m happy to do so, but they couldn’t give me an exact location because I was talking to a generic support agent who is not familiar with this exact location. Had to shower cold. Floors are uneven. Place was decently clean. Location was great if you are skiing at Vail, but that’s about it. I would not stay again. Very frustrating experience for the price.

We selected this unit for location and price considerations. Being on the Vail shuttle route makes access to Vail Village simple. The condo has everything a smaller group needs. Yes it’s a little older but no complaints. Biggest thing for us was relatively quiet and buffer from I-70 above

Beautiful location but mice inside

Beautiful location. However we found a mouse stuck in a bathtub when we arrived that appeared to have been there a while evidenced by the amount of droppings in the tub. Also saw a second mouse running in the living room during our stay. The patio furniture was dirty enough that we didn’t want to sit or eat out there. They did send a housekeeper and someone to hose off the patio and give us some mouse traps after notifying them. The CO2 monitor went off randomly in the middle of the night and we had to call the fire department…turned out to be a false alarm. Again, beautiful location but the mice had us on edge the entire stay.

Not clean

This place could be fine. It has a cute living space with comfortable couches and great location but that's ruined by the lack of instruction on how to work the ancient coded entrance door that leads through the main bedroom. That could all be overlooked if the place was clean and had comfortable beds but not the case! Floors were filthy, main bed was so uncomfortable we couldn't sleep, sheets had big stain, hair in one bathtub, main bedroom shower was tiny and shower head needed to be replaced- squirting water all out the sides. Well you would think when you tell Vacasa the managing company they would get the sheets swapped and have the place cleaned but no, all they did was bring more towels and halfway made the bed. Didn't change the stained sheets or clean anything! That was the most frustrating part. We just had to overlook it all and deal with it. Had to get a hotel the last night just so we could sleep. The place has potential but with this management it's a terrible place to waste 450 a night on

Great place, so close to Vail

We truly enjoyed our stay here. So close to Vail. Comfortable beds, clean and right next to creek. Only issue we had was you can hear the residents immediately above and next door to this condo.

Great creek..........

Really liked the patio opening to Gore Creek. Great sitting out there and relaxing to the sound of the creek. Check in? Need to have listed on the site or send email where check in is. It is on the other side of Vail. Called for check in instructions and did not tell me that we are not on site, etc. During the day, sitting on the patio/living room/kitchen was great. However, both rooms face I-70 and have to have windows open during the summer. There was heavy construction at night 3 of the 4 nights we stayed there. It was very noisy. The last night no construction but still could hear traffic. At lease it slowed down after 11 or so. Relatively noisy upstairs with noises/foot steps easily audible. Lastly, the front door opened into one of the bedrooms. Any one coming in through the front door must go through a bedroom.
