Only negative us that minibar was overpriced- even for a minibar!
Tip: if arriving by bus, don't follow GPS through old town. Just turn right on main drag which circles around and you will come to hotel which is across from cathedral (which is the 2nd church)."
"Venus pour 2 nuits, nous aurions pu y rester un peu plus, tant on s'est sentis bien o Mas de Meze. Accueillis très chaleureusement par Laurent et Edwige. Très disponibles. 4 hectares de verdure, lieu très reposant et calme.
La journée commence par un petit déjeuner chaque jour différent. Edwige concocte des douceurs salées et sucrées , lesquelles mettent en réveil nos papilles. Un délice.
Voilà un petit résumé de notre court séjour, laissez vous tenter.

"The hotel is charming and well furnished. It is in the middle of the beautiful town of Uzès so expect street noises especially if you have the window open. We were disturbed by a mosquito in the night but that’s not the fault of the hotel. There is no parking space, the car must be left in a public carpark."
"This lovely rustic cottage with all amenities, tucked away in a secret garden at the rear of a property just outside the pedestrian zone, makes an ideal base for visiting the beautiful medieval city of Uses. It's a short and very pleasant walk to all the cafes, restaurants, and fantastic weekly Farmers Market in the main square. Check in was seamless via a lockbox. "We stayed at La Maison Rouge for 2 nights in October.
The Maison is perfectly situated in Uzès, very clean and comfortable, delightfully authentic in that classic French way and surrounded by the wonderful shops, restaurants and cobbled streets of old Uzès. Fabiènne is a great hostess, and the breakfasts are terrific. Thoroughly recommended."
