A Waterfront Treasure

This little cottage is ideal for those who want a romantic retreat, creative get away, wellness stay or just some rest & relaxation.

Here's what I find to be the best features of the property. First, it's a humble cottage that you will find offers all of the conveniences of home. Fully stocked kitchen, washer & dryer, Weber grill on the back deck, you have a large screen TV for those evenings that you may want to recoup from water and sun. Kayaks, an additional deck over the water for dining and so much more that would have to be experienced personally to fully understand.

The location is on 29th Avenue which if you are familiar with Sylvan beach most of the Restaurant and Entertainment is centrally located around Main Street, 13th - 15th Ave. It's a short drive and or walk into town but the beautiful part is that you are nestled away from the busy section and can fully take in the amazing sunsets while relaxing at the quiet end of the Beach.

The cottage is truly single floor living with a very large yard space. The Sunroom features a pull out sofa for two, which offers a sliding glass door for fantastic view and a cool breeze off the lake for a perfect nights sleep, while listening to the waves roll in.

Off of the kitchen is one 1/2 bath and the Master bedroom which has a queen bed w/ ensuite bathroom. There is a small upstairs space which has a twin bed at the top of the stairs as well as a trundle bed to the far front of the house.

The ideal renter would be most interested in privacy, looking to fully enjoy outdoor living in what we consider to be a prime location within the beach.

My husband and I spent our anniversary weekend here during September. It was so peaceful, quiet and beautiful. The deck by the water is perfectly shaded to enjoy warm afternoons. We walked into town, took about 15 minutes, but otherwise enjoyed the sunroom, outdoor patio and deck. Great location and the host has literally thought of every detail to make this a comfortable stay. We will be back!

Great location. Waterfront Treasure was very relaxing. Unfortunately it rained for most of our trip so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor space but it was amazing.

Perfect!

Even more beautiful in person - I am not sure if I could have picked a more perfect place to spend a relaxing week away. The setting, I would have to imagine, is probably one of the best ones in this area. What makes it is the shaded deck right on the water, which was a lovely place to have dinner and watch the sunset. The neighbors were friendly. The location was quiet, just far enough away from the bustling village. The house was spotless with a very comfortable layout and fun nautical decor. The kitchen had everything we needed and the grill outside was great. Everyone slept comfortably with air conditioning in both rooms. I would highly recommend and would be thrilled to return in the future!

Quiet Neighborhood

We stayed for 4 days. The house is just as described- clean and well stocked. We had 4 adults and plenty of room. We did not use the upstairs rooms because the ceiling is low . It was a great home that lacked nothing. We did spend most of our time outside as it was so relaxing. We fished, kayaked and swam. You can walk out 250+ft before you are in water over 3ft. Water was warm and bottom is sandy once you past the weeds. Ducks and geese are always around. The restaurants were a short frive or walk away.

Just wonderful!!

This property is ideal for any and all. Booked for weekend and 1st night was a relaxing girls night. We kayaked, grilled, had a fire, had coffee on the lake… Saturday in rolled my kids age 7, 17, and 19. We fished, kayaked, played badmitten, hula hooped, grilled some more, had a fire and did sparklers with the beautiful sunsetting in the background, made s’mores, made apple pies over open fire, played twister. By Sunday we were so pleased we invited some friends and family to join for the day. The water is so sandy and shallow forever that all the kids (with a now 18mo and 24mo) were able to splash around and play with us standing out in water up to knees. We have received countless thanks from those we invited for the day. Our group has not stopped talking about it. It was so well-stocked and welcoming. It made packing up for a weekend a total breeze. Robin was helpful with any questions I had. Which were minimal as everything seemed taken care of. Air conditioner in bedroom kept us comfortable during hot weekend. Highly recommend!

Amazing sunsets on the lake!

Had a very relaxing long weekend on the lake. The property location was perfect for a quiet holiday with only a short drive (or 20 min walk) to bars, restaurants and amusements. Robin was the perfect host! The sunsets were magical!

The perfect place!

My mother and I took a girls trip back home for a few days and being someone who grew up in sylvan beach I would highly recommend this place. It’s very close to all the bars and fun stuff but far enough away to enjoy the peace of the lake. Our absolute favorite part was the dock and table right on the lake. We spent most of our time there enjoying meals and the sunsets. Robin was so easy to communicate with and had everything you could need in the house. This will be the place we stay at whenever we visit our hometown in the future!

Great Place, Great location, Great Owners!

Very quaint place right on the water. Back yard was perfect for a family BBQ (nice grill!), fishing and kayaking. The master bed and bath was spacious and kids would love the bedroom/play area upstairs. There are many amenities that are not included in the description including a brand new gas grill, a 2 person kayak, water tubes and lawn games. It was well equipped, very clean and extremely comfortable. The location is great too. Essentials are available within a half of a mile (to include good dining) and its only 20 minutes to the casinos, Vernon Downs and other local entertainment. NY wine country of the finger lakes is an easy day trip! Check in/out was the simplest I've ever experienced and the owners even left a very sweet check in gift for us :)

Cozy lakefront cottage

Another great stay at this cozy lake cottage. The owner, Robin, is always warm and welcoming. Quiet area just north of Sylvan beach. The cottage is always clean with comfortable furniture and no clutter. Your right on Oneida lake with beautiful views from the deck and cottage windows. We look forward to returning soon.

Great for your well being

Wonderful house,amazing views,relaxing few days away from it all. Excellent communication with host and lovely gesture of food items on arrival. Being from the UK we came across Oneida Lake by chance but will be telling our friends what a beautiful spot it is.

What a wonderful stay!

What an amazing property. The house was beautiful, the yard and deck were amazing, and Robin couldn’t have been nicer and more responsive. Any question I had (and there were a lot) she responded to within minutes. There is nothing like sitting on the sun in the deck just watching the water and all the wildlife. We will definitely be back next year.
