"I was impressed with the updated amenities at the Sierra Inn! The beds were very comfortable and once you closed the door, you couldn’t hear any road noise. It was also very nice to walk around to the back of the Inn to the river and find an abundance of comfy chairs, picnic tables, firepits and bbq ‘s to enjoy. We will be back!"

"Very Disappointed. No hot water. We came back from a day of hiking at Yosemite to a Luke-warm shower. We told them after one shower and they didn’t have another room and didn’t offer anything to compensate us for this inconvenience. "My husband and I specifically made a 3 night reservation at the Kit Carson Lodge over the 4th of July weekend because we were told by an employee over the phone that the room included a microwave and a fridge, plates and cutlery That was not true. We arrived with multiple perishables and cooked food, o find out, upon arrival, that there were neither plates & cutlery NOR a microwave NOR a fridge. "The best thing about this hotel is the location! It’s surrounded by nature and absolutely stunning. There is a burger joint next door and it’s only 25 min away from Meeks bay!
The rooms are small and cozy. The set up makes it easy to store luggage’s , etc. my only compliant is the rooms do need better cleaning. We had spider webs/spiders on the ceiling.
Beds are comfortable! Bathroom is a cute set up. If you don’t mind quaint and cozy this is a good hotel to stay with!"

"I would stay here again. It’s close enough to everything. I really liked how the building to get to your rooms was locked and you needed your room key to get in.
They do have someone in the office 24/7 if needed.
Even though this is on the main road, you do not hear the traffic at all."

"The bathroom was horrible, literally mold on the tiles on the tub floor. The faucet handles for the shower were just barely working and they were just two knobs out of a broken tile holes! The walls are paper thin so you could others in the next door rooms using the bathrooms disgusting. The room itself was old work out carpet with furniture not fit for donation."

"So I've stayed at this location twice. I've also stayed at least five other locations in the same area. The property is decent. But the biggest downside is there is literally no view except the parking lot from the rooms. Also parking is crazy tight. Also there is no Management in the offices. The rooms are decent but feel unprivate. I will not stay this location again"
