  • Owls Nest Beach House. A large private sandy beach is just a few steps away. The sandy beach is perfect for long walks, swimming, playing in the waves, or just relaxing with your favorite beverage. Enjoy your evening sitting by a beach fire.
    The Owls Nest has 4 bedrooms with elevated ceilings and 3 bathrooms. The master bedroom has its own bathroom. The small guest house acts as a second master bed room/living room and has its own bathroom. The Owls Nest has a large open floor plan with a wood burning fire place and elevated ceilings. This beach house is perfect for a family vacation or a quiet romantic getaway.
    The kitchen is fully equipped for all of your cooking needs and has a breakfast bar.
    The screened in porch is perfect for outside breakfast, lunch, or dinner meals.
    Gracon high chair, and Joovy Room2 travel bed are included.
    There is plenty of on-site parking.
    New Buffalo and Union Pier are just 2 miles away with restaurants, taverns and grocery stores.
    It is just a short walk to Whistle Stop convenience store and Red Arrow Road House Tavern.
    The Galien River access is just 2 miles away. This Galien river is a 30.0-mile-long river that begins at the outlet of Dayton Lake and flows into Lake Michigan at New Buffalo. The river is perfect for Kayaking or Canoeing.

Beautiful, spacey, clean house few minutes away from beach. Very easy to get to it from Chicago. Perfect place for romantic getaway or family vacation. Full supplied kitchen, restrooms and bedrooms. Games and tv available. Good parking lot. Very quiet area, everything is well kept. Good communication with host! highly recommended !

Love Owl's Nest, spacious and comfortable and so convenient to the water. The second "cottage" is a real find and perfect for multifamily stay. Would book year after year.

Perfect beach house, clean, well stocked with everything you may need and location is the best! The beach is a short walk but a steep incline of stairs and sand which makes it a difficult walk with cooler, Maui mat, or any other larger items. But very doable for the young and fit. We would love to rent from Martin again.

Such a lovely place to stay for a Michigan beach vacation! This is our second time staying here as a family and we just love it. Very close walk to the beach, Red Arrow Roadhouse, Coffee shop. Ample space for sleeping and lounging and lots of beach equipment to use. Great for families but would also be nice for couples/friends vacation. We are looking forward to staying again!

Wonderful stay!

We had a great 2.5 day stay at Owls Nest with family. The house was clean, fully stocked with everything you could need or want and in a prime location, just a block to the beach. The beach was beautiful. Soft sand, clear blue water and private. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return next year!

The photos don't do the space justice. Very comfortable and very clean. Had all the the things that a person could need in a vacation home for inside outside or the beach. Host was communicative but not overbearing. Absolutely plan to book again.

Quiet and Convenient Stay by the Beach

Our family had a great weekend at the Owls Nest. The location is perfect. If you bring groceries, there is no need for a car. The beach is a short walk away (even with toddlers) and the restaurant at the end of the street is a great place to bring the kids too. The house is clean and spacious and had everything we needed, from beach chairs to Roku.
