Sprawling over a massive 10,000 square meter plot, the property features a beautifully curated, very large garden and a private inground pool. Fully fenced to offer total privacy — and complete peace of mind for those traveling with pets — Villa Picalò is your ultimate private sanctuary located just over 1 kilometer from Salento’s renowned sandy beaches.

The elegant interior is intelligently distributed between a historic main building and charming independent annexes, providing the perfect balance of communal spaces and private retreats. The main house features a spacious living room equipped with a large 55-inch TV with satellite channels , alongside two private bedrooms — one with twin single beds and another featuring a double bed and a private en-suite bathroom. Steeped in local charm, the property includes two traditional stone structures with independent outdoor access: the Trullo, offering a romantic double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a 24-inch TV, and the Casedda, which also features a private double bedroom, an en-suite bathroom, and a 24-inch TV. A separate guest house dependance offers a fifth private double bedroom with a 24-inch TV, a secondary smaller kitchenette, and its own living room complete with a comfortable double sofa bed. The main, independent gas kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, a freezer, a microwave, an oven, a toaster, a kettle, a dishwasher, an ice maker, and a capsule coffee machine.

Guests will enjoy complete climate control with heating and air conditioning in every room except the kitchen, insect screens, 5 shower bathrooms, a hairdryer, a washing machine and free wifi.

The outdoor grounds are designed for pure relaxation and entertainment. Step out into the magnificent estate where a pristine approx. 10x5-meter inground swimming pool takes center stage, lined with sun loungers and deck chairs. Al fresco dining is made easy with an outdoor dining setup, a charcoal barbecue and a foosball table for friendly group tournaments. Sheltered private parking is also available on-site.

While the villa offers an idyllic world of its own, it is perfectly positioned to explore the very best of the Ugento marina. You are just a short drive from crystalline waters, with Lido Cocoloco and Lido Malibu just 1.3 km away, and Lido Sabbioso at 2.5 km. For unforgettable dining experiences, you can sample local cuisine at Bottega dei sapori just 2.8 km away, or visit the highly acclaimed restaurant "Mulino di Alcantara" (7 km away), renowned as one of the best spots in the area for fresh fish and seafood. You can also pick up the finest fresh catch of the day at the excellent fish shop "Pescheria del Porto" in Torre San Giovanni, located 2.5 km from the villa. Grocery essentials can be found at the Lidl in Ugento, 7.5 km away.





🛏️ Sheets, duvets and towels are not included. If you don't want to bring them with you from home, regardless of the length of your stay, you can rent them for €26 per person.

🧽 Final cleaning is not included and costs €180, unless you clean yourselves before departure.

🐶 Dogs and pets are welcome, if you inform us in advance! Surcharge: €150 for the 1st one, €75 each for the others. Usually max 1 large or 2 small ones are allowed, but exceptions might be possible upon request.

💰 We will ask you to pay a security deposit of €1000 before arrival. The security deposit will be refunded within 7 days after departure, if there is no damage.

⚡ Electricity costs (and thus where applicable AC, hot water, heating etc.) are NOT included in the price and will be charged based on your actual consumption. The price per kWh charged to guests was €0,45 on 04/06/2026, when this text was last updated. Prices may slightly change over time.

ℹ️ By booking this accommodation, you accept that:

- We are obliged by law to verify the identity of all our guests. We will therefore ask you to upload copies of your IDs on our (secure) website to verify your identity before handing out the key code for the accommodation. Your personal data is treated in full compliance with EU data protection laws.

- Also, we are obliged to sign a rental agreement with our guests (one person per group). This will be done digitally and requires just a few seconds on your side. You can find a template of the rental agreement on our website.

- Parties, gatherings, events or loud music are not allowed at this property unless explicitly authorised beforehand by us in writing.

- In case the local municipality charges a tourist tax, we will ask you to pay this separately to us and we will transfer it to the local authorities as required by law.

- Please note that, like for all houses in Italy, the power allowance of the house is limited and you might not be able to always use all electric appliances simultaneously. No need to worry: most guests don't even notice this limitation.

- Unlimited wifi is included in the price for normal use. Fair use policies might apply. Please note that we cannot guarantee any specific connection speed nor coverage across all rooms in the building. We're happy to provide more details upon request.

- This property is managed by our local partner in Torre San Giovanni, who will be available for you during your stay.
