The beauty of this hotel is that sits just outside the busy centre but so close with jungle peace and quite jungle. We offer any service any time day or night for convenience. The view as you walk in is Breath taking. The private, spacious room and gorgeous pool is set amongst a tropical nature with jungle views. Real traditional Balinese temples feature next to the property. During the day laze about floating in the pool watching butterflies and squirrels in the jungle, at night the jungle become a magical place for fireflies to dance. The rooms come equipped with air conditioning as well. We are located 5 from the center Ubud by driving, but this is the specials of our place. We call it gems in the sand.
We also doing special treatment for the villa for some animals as we are located in the jungle and near by the rice field.

Wegi House is also in an area where you can have food delivered from any restaurant in Ubud from around 90 cents for delivery. The food in Ubud is to die for and we will supply you with a list of must try tips!

THE VILLAGE: Wegi House 2 is located in one of the oldest village of Ubud. The name originated from a local Balinese family who named their villa after Their son name Yan Eka Wegi which is me, "hahaha"! During your stay you will likely meet Yan (Wayan) or his friendly staffs. His father owns Wegi House 1 and 2. Yan comes from a big family in the local village and lives in a large family compound. This area is renowned for its artists. Painters, sculptures, silversmiths and more. In Bali the family all live together, from grandparents to grandchildren. The saying “It takes a village to raise a child” really works here and you see how beautiful the community is because of its strong dependence on its community. Yan’s family are accomplished artists and his father sells his paintings all over the world.

SPECIAL GUEST INVITE: If there are any village ceremonies happening during your stay we will invite you to attend. This is a great honour and we are very lucky to be able to extend this warm welcome to our guests! This is part of what makes the “Wegi House 2” experience so special. You will really get to become a part of the real Bali whilst having a wonderful Villa to relax in.

AMEMNITIES: Please see our list of Amenities. We have fiber optic wifi at the hotel. Bathrooms come equipped with hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. These are all quality products for guests ease of stay. Bathrooms have both hot and cold water. The Balinese septic systems are not the same as many western cultures. Please only flush very small amounts of toilet paper as large amounts will end in toilet blockages.

EATING:We provide you with free breakfast ans we can also serve lunch and dinner with additional charge, we also encourage you to try some of the local Warungs, cafes and restaurants. Food delivery is available and we have organised with the restaurants ease of order as they know Wegi House 2 so you can simply call them with your order quoting Wegi House 2, Ubud. Please see the menus with a large variety of cuisines. We have also provided a mini bar.

DRINKING WATER: Please note: The tap water in Bali is not good to drink. Bali has germs different to your home country that could make you sick. We have provided drinking water which is always available to our guests. Its fine for washing your dishes and we even use the tap water to brush our teeth but I’d suggest only ever drink from the water we provide. It’s hot and sweaty in Bali so remember to keep hydrated!

HEALTH AND SAFETY: Sometimes we have a few mosquitoes in Bali. It’s never many but if they do come buzzing, please use the mosquito coils and personal insect repellent (Off) provided. If you are to become sick in Bali for any reason, please let us know and we can organise for someone to take you to a doctor or hospital. We can also arrange for a doctor to come to the hotel.

BALINESE VISITORS: As per Balinese tradition there will be people who come through the hotels from time to time. Most often Yan’s Wife will come to do blessings with incense and offerings at the hotel temple. She does speak English but might not too good but always appreciates a smile and a hello. This usually only takes 10 minutes.

STAFFS: We have wonderful staffs. They are available for cleaning floors, washing dishes, making beds, cleaning windows and more and time is flexible as you wish.

GETTING AROUND: As we are located in Ubud centre we are still happy to provide a cheap daily shuttle to all places in Ubud. Please give 2 hours notice for bookings of the shuttle. There are warungs and shops in your local area for eating and drinking. Please check out the walking map.

Daily housekeeper – Make beds, clean floors, clean bathroom, tidy areas.


In House Massage – 1 hour p/p. Day or night. There’s nothing more relaxing than a massage in your own private room with sounds of the river and jungle in the background. Menu in welcome book.

Fruit Platter Delivered – Large share tasting platter of all the local tropical fruits in the area. Amazing colours and flavors. (USD$15 )

Private Driver – For full day tailored tour in safe, air-conditioned large car. Our driver knows some amazing spots to take you should you wish for suggestions. Air conditioned large vehicle with up to 6 passengers, 2 cars for 12 passenger with no luggage will be better price than a van for 12 passenger.

Scooter Hire – We can organise a scooter hire to rent you scooters. This requires passport. USD$6 (75K IDR) for 125 cc 80k for 3 or more days, 65k per day or 75k for 3 or more days.

Laundry Service – Wash, dried and folded. Please leave 24 hrs for this service. 25k IDR or 1 kg. Use Laundry bag supplied.

Airport shuttle 350k (USD$28 ) per car before 9:30pm. 450k (USD$35) after 9:30pm flight arrival. 1.5 hour drive to Ubud from airport. Maximum 4 person per car if you have many bags or luggages. Maximum 6 per car if you have small and not so many bags or luggages. We recommend this service as especially at night time it's so much smoother for guest check in. We charge addtional for each hour 75k 30 min after the arrival time when pick up.
