Lovingly restored this two story Tybee Beach Cottage is just 2 blocks from the 11th Street beach walkover and has resort style amenities including a heated family size inground pool., custom built tiki bar with swings, and lounge area with outdoor fire pit. The first level boasts a generous welcoming screen porch that flows into a large living room, a spacious kitchen overlooking the pool, plus 1 bedroom and a half bath.
The second level features hardwood floors, 2 full Baths and 4 sleeping quarters that all open to the deck overlooking the pool.
Every room has been enhanced and cheerfully decorated by renowned designer, Jane Coslick. The laundry and 3rd full bath is located off the screen porch. Within the privacy fence is an outdoor shower.
Located mid island, it is a short walk or bike ride to the island's best restaurants, commercial area, and Memorial Park.

Ideal overall location, ample parking for a family and great pool. Pool area required our effort to clean before use and the pool itself needed cleaning which the host arranged on day 2.General cleanliness lacking with floors appearing to be unwashed with remnants of dirt and food in evidence from prior guests. Ceiling fans covered with dust. Bedding, towels and bathroom surfaces were clean.Heavy rain on the last day resulted in the enclosed patio being flooded as well as the flooring the back hall entrance to the downstairs bedroom. General upkeep was disappointing. Host sent people to clean but hard to due when nine people and their belongings were in place.

Very disappointed.

The descriptions of the bathrooms are truly inaccurate. There’s technically 2 and 1/4 bathrooms inside the house, a disgusting shower & toilet outside in the sunroom area with washer/dryer and then an outside shower by the pool for showering off for the pool. The toilet & sink in the small bedroom off the kitchen looks like it was a small closet transformed, leaving no room to even stand up appropriately in it. The location is great( 2 1/2 blocks from the beach when you count the boardwalk on the website) and if you like the feeling of a glorified camping trip, it’s perfect. Pictures on the website are old and deceiving. Understand it’s advertised as a cottage, but it needs serious updating. Pool was amazing and well maintained.

This is an older house that I’m guessing has been a rental for many years. The house and furniture are well worn. That said, the house accommodates a large group— we were 3 couples plus 2 kids.

Quaint house close to the beach

We loved our stay here! The location was perfect! It is a quick walk to the beach and walkable to multiple restaurants and shops. We loved having the pool at the house (which doesn’t seem the norm on Tybee). Amy was very communicative and responsive. The house is older so it has its quirks (walk through 1-2 bedrooms to get to other rooms, window air units) but it had everything we needed. For a big group I would bring extra beach towels but they had floaties for the pool and a wagon to take stuff to the beach. I would recommend it and would stay there again for a relaxing Tybee vacation!

Great place for a big group and great location.

I had my bachelorette in Tybee and we stayed at Amy's place. It was a perfect fit. -The location is great! The grocery store is right around the corner, the beach is a quick two block walk away (and the house has chairs and a wagon), and many restaurants and bars walking distance. -The backyard and screened in porch is are the star of the house. It felt very private and the whole space was great for the whole group to be together. -The house is older so it has its quirks. One of the bathrooms was broken when we arrived and Amy got someone over there promptly to fix it. -I would suggest to bring your own beach towels. There were plenty of bath towels but only a few beach towels.- All the rooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable. Three of the four upstairs bedrooms are captured bedrooms so you have to walk through 1-2 bedrooms to get to the other bedrooms. My group had no problem with this but not sure how well it would work with a different group. All in all very cute house and would stay again.

Group Getaway

We had a great time on our trip! The house was perfect for our group and the location is great, too. The only issues we had were that there were some bugs in the window sills and we ran out of towels and toilet paper in most of the bathrooms before the end of our stay. Also, the listing says heated pool, but that ended up being an additional out-of-pocket charge of almost 400 to heat the pool for our trip. There was also some confusion over the parking situation. I would also note that Tybee apparently has very strict noise ordinances for the neighborhood after 9 PM, which wasn't an issue for our group but might be for others. Overall, we had a great time, and those things weren't deal-breakers for us.

Bachelorette trip with 12

We had the best time at Amy’s place. It is perfectly decorated and laid out for a group of 12 girls. We loved the outdoor space, the pool and tiki bar added a lot to the trip and overall ambiance! The kitchen was very well equipped, beds were comfortable, and the house was bright and cheery. We would definitely stay there again!

“My Bad” Experience

Had to reach out to owner three times for check in entry code and finally got it 2 hours after check in time. She was not expecting us until the next day. “ My bad” was I all got. On arrival to the home, it was very hot and the AC window units were thick with dust and mold. The next day the handyman was at the house half of the day cleaning those items and other things while we were there. The pool was also very dirty. The pool guy came for a few hours the first morning and treated it two days in a row and it was finally better. The next day we found “insect droppings” in our bathroom towel cabinet. Pest company had to come treat, but he could not get in so we had to change our plans and come back to the house to let him in. We asked the owner for the first night to be refunded after all of these issues but her response was ( believe it or not) that if I would leave a “polite” review, she would later refund the cleaning fee. There was never any apology for any of these items. Reviews must be honest so others do not rent a home that is not maintained well or have owners that take no responsibility. DO NOT rent this home!

Authentic Tybee Cottage w/ Plenty of Room

Very cute property with plenty of space/beds/rooms and bathrooms. Has everything you need. Pool area is a little tighter than it looked in the pics but it was no problem. Very good communication with the owner and a great location close to beach and restaurants!

Fun Family Getaway

We enjoyed this rental so much. We had adults and kids ages 9-12. The short distance to the beach and restaurants/stores was perfect. Also, having a pool made the evenings and days away from the beach wonderful for all ages.

Charming home

We were a group of 3 friends with our kids, we had a wonderful time. Amy was quick to respond to our needs. 3 of the bedrooms upstairs are inter-connected so privacy could definitely be an issue for some groups. Also while pool heat is mentioned on the main description, it did not specify that it’s an added charge @$85/day. Our pool heat did not work for 2 of 4 days but we received our refund for the same. It’s an older home, so don’t expect a modern open concept home but it’s beautifully decorated and it has everything you may need. Lots of Sunlight, airy and bright. The kids had a wonderful time at the pool. The beach is a short 5 min walk. There is a small grocery store around the corner which was super convenient as well. We would recommend Amy’s home for families or a close group of friends.

Best beach house!

My group of friends and I had the best weekend in Tybee Island staying at this property. It is so close to the beach and you can walk to shops and bars in less than a mile. The house was so gorgeous and had so many great amenities. We absolutely loved the pool and they even had an outdoor shower! We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Amy was awesome!

Pretty, charming, close to beach

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage. Comfortable, beautifully decorated, cozy yet plenty of room. There are four king-bedrooms upstairs and one queen downstairs (and a basic sofa sleeper in the living room.) Important to know that three of the bedrooms upstairs are linked and require passage to come downstairs, so privacy for some people may be an issue. It was not a problem for us. (Also, there’s a lovely porch that runs along the rooms outside and we usually walked along the porch rather than through the bedrooms. Kinda fun!). We spent most of our time on the lovely screened-in porch and around the pool, which was delightful relief coming up from the beach, only two blocks away. Amy, the host, was responsive and helpful. We would definitely come again.

Clean, convenient and SO cute!

We had an all girls trip (12) total and this was just perfect for all of us. The house is decorated so cute and made us all feel right at home as soon as we walked in. Bonus is the pool, which is heated plus we were in walking distance to a grocery store and restaurants. The beach is a very short walk as well. The property provided everything we needed and more towels, (beach and bath), coffee, shampoo and conditioner, pool floats, recommendations and so much more. Two refrigerators made it super convenient as well- one for food etc…and an extra for snacks and drinks. Check in- super easy and so was check out. This cute cottage is just as described and we loved the indoor outdoor feel. We had a wonderful time and hope to make this an annual trip! All In all 5⭐️

Wonderful stay close to the beach

We had a wonderful time staying at this cottage . We were 6 adults and 6 kids , the kids absolutely loved the pool , Amy had kept it heated and that really helped . The entire cottage has a very cozy feel to it and it’s just minutes from the beach . Walking down to the beach was so convenient.the kitchen had al that we needed , plates , cups etc more than enough for 12 of us. Linen and plenty of towels really helped . Beds were super comfortable and beach chairs available to take down to the beach . A few things to note that’s a little different from other homes we have lived in are : 3 of the bedrooms are interconnected .so you have to go through one room to get to another . Not a big issue but definitely a difference . And the 3rd full bath is detached from the house . Amy was very quick to respond and we enjoyed our stay here!

Awesome beach house with pool!

What an great little place! This was honestly so much more than we expected! First off let me say the fact that it’s a 1 minute walk to the beach is insane and having a pool in the house is really the cherry on top. They had games there too so which is awesome because not all airbnb’s do extra for the people staying there to vacation. I think what made it feel great where the little extra touches all around the house. The host was very communicative and easy to speak to, she made things go smooth. Overall I honestly am so happy to have chosen this as our vacation spot to visit Savannah! The location is perfect and 5 minutes from the house (walking) you can find bars and a couple little stores and also the pier. 5 star Airbnb right here!!!
