Peaceful hidden gem

Staying here was a beautiful and memorable experience. The wonderfully fresh plants and antique furniture will help you relax peacefully. The breakfast was excellent and the owner's service was very friendly.

Our stay was short, but sweet. The hosts were very accommodating and the property was not too far from the activities that we wanted to do. I would stay again if I have a short trip to Trinidad.

Willard's is the place for relaxing and eating some of the best breakfast I've ever had! The hosts were incredibly warm, facilitated my late arrival and departure, keep an immaculately clean guesthouse and I was so content with breakfast I skipped lunch!

Amazing choice.

We stayed 4 days. Our hostesses made sure we had everything we needed. It is a wonderful place to come home to after a long day of birding. Breakfast was amazing.

We loved this property! It had everything we needed (including being close the airport). The atmosphere was sublime and much appreciated after a long day of travel. The hostess of the house was wonderful and attentive. Two cherries on the cake: the gorgeous pool and breakfast. Don’t miss this property.

Lovely house

Lovely breakfast, nice little pool. Super hosts. We were a little late for checking in, finally found it as our maps app took us to the wrong part of the street, on arrival rang the doorbell dozens of times before the host arrived. We were getting a little worried but it was all good in the end though

Willard's is an immaculately kept and secure facility with beautiful decor. The suite is spacious, well equipped, quiet, and comfortable. There is a lovely private pool surrounded by an amazing array of plants in large ceramic pots. There is a nearby grocery store that is easily walkable in under 10 minutes. The proprietor is very hospital and helpful in arranging transportation. The breakfasts were superb with generous portions and a variety of options. The location is well situated for daily excursions to the north of Trinidad. We loved our 4-night stay and would return in a heartbeat.

It was an amazing experience and beyond. Eutrice and Clael make me feel very special. Their attentions were much more than expected. Food was made with love. The place is great to connect with nature and relax. Inside very comfortable. Everything was unique for me. I also had a good talked with them. I hope I have to go back to TT. In 45 years of travel, we never stayed at a better place. If there is ever the need for a blueprint of a Bed & Breakfast, look no further. Our suite was spacious and meticulously clean. It provided the highest of comfort, was furnished in style and offered a great view of the rising sun, the surrounding neighborhood and the hills to the north. All original art on the walls throughout the house is testament to the owner's dedication for detail. The clean and well sized pool was an added bonus which we enjoyed every morning before our admirable host served a delicious Trinidadian breakfast to the highest standards. She turned this into an experience of a live time! If you think the photos look great - they are no match to the original! Should we ever return to Trinidad, and we hope we do, we will definitely stay at the Willard's Bed & Breakfast again.

Eutrice and Claire were wonderful hosts! Each morning we enjoyed a gourmet traditional Trinidad breakfast - exactly what we were hoping for. The breakfasts were large, filling and delicious. In fact, they provided so much food for breakfast, that we didn't eat lunch. It just wasn't necessary. The room was clean and comfortable. The only issue we had in the room was that the shower rod fell down. However, Eutrice made sure that it was replaced quickly. The back porch is beautiful! Eutrice and Claire have put dozens and dozens of beautiful plants all around their property and on their back porch. The result is a very peaceful and lovely place to spend time. My wife and I would sit back there and have our daily Bible readings together. I also enjoyed swimming in the pool during the day. Eutrice takes really good care of her guests. I tried driving in Trinidad, but gave up after a few attempts. I was just not skilled enough to tackle driving there. When I told Eutrice I was going to return our rental car, she suggested that we hire a local driver to take us around to some place. We did, and it worked out great! The price was very reasonable. All in all, I highly recommend Willard's Bed and Breakfast. You won't go wrong here!

This is one of those stays that you don’t find often. I woke up every morning to freshly prepared native breakfast. Every question I had was answered and I got to learn a lot about the country from the owner herself. She was also nice enough to give me a ride to the airport after my ride share cancelled on me. Every moment spent here was meaningful and deeply moved me as a solo traveler. I would highly recommend this place if you want a more local experience. You’ll be right in the heart of things but there is enough nature around you so you can explore as well. The pool was well kept and quite relaxing, and the shower was fantastic. I slept like a baby every time I put those sheets over my head. I stayed during the rainy season too so it was very relaxing to just open my windows and listen to the rain hit the tiles as I fell asleep. Overall this experience is something that finds you before you find it. I wasn’t expecting to stay here but something drew my eye to it and I decided to book it. I don’t regret it one bit. I was well taken care of for the three days I stayed here.
