"Booked for long weekend with family. Check in was at 3pm but had to wait 2.5 for rooms to be cleaned and got access to rooms at 5:30pm. "Lovely location. Appears to be lovely hotel set up. TERRIBLE customer service and staff. Drove 5 hours here after a paid for booking and recited email. Hotel had the confirmation and had double booked but decided to not call me but instead tell me on the evening of arrival. They said their manager would call me the next day to rectify the refund. "Extremely personable landlord, Craig. Room was prepared ready for us to check in early (off to a wedding after a long drive) and sandwiches provided on request which was very much appreciated. The room and bathroom were spacious and nicely decorated and the bed very comfortable. Little communal kitchen area provided everything needed for a late night snack and breakfast which was a nice touch. Heard from local friends at the wedding that the food is great too.
