Gorgeous Casita on the hill with Million Dollar view. What a place, first of all a caring owner who built and furnished this wonderful place. Next point is perfect communication with the owner, what more could you ask for, I would come back again immediately.

It was an absolutely amazing stay the house is gorgeous with a fantastic view and it was extremely clean and they had all sorts of amenities for us to use and communication with the owners was top notch and even after we discovered there was only one bed and one bedroom they brought up a cot with a real mattress to help accommodate our needs easily the best stay I've ever had and would give them more stars if I could!!!!

Views, Birds and Fireworks

This was the perfect place for our brief desert getaway. The view is spectacular and was the best spot to see fireworks on the 4th from all over the area. I loved watching the birds, lizards and ground squirrels from the deck. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Karen is a friendly hostess with great communication. We will absolutely stay here again!

Special casita perfect for a couple to enjoy glorious foothill views both night and day off your very own highpoint foothill! Quiet and beautiful. Includes a wonderful pool with views of many Saguaros and the Santa Catalina Mountains. Karen, our hostess, thought out everything to make guests comfortable from great King mattress with bedding, furniture, tvs, cooking implements, deck furnishings, beautiful crystal geodes, ceiling fans, great ac (a must!). And she was available by text to help or answer questions. We've stayed at lots of VRBOs and airb&bs, and this one rates among the best. Only challenge is you must carry luggage, groceries, etc...up an down stairs, which may be difficult if you have mobility problems. This is explained on VRBO in advance, but worth mentioning. It is worth the challenge to me, but I can see it being hard for some folks. Great location near lots of restaurants, Sabino Canyon, stores and shops. We visited in June, and although it had high temperatures over 100', it's dry heat and much more comfortable than a humid 90' elsewhere, in my opinion. Prepare to protect your skin from high UVs. Evenings are both comfortable and beautiful with views of stars and city lights below.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view from the wrap around deck offered outstanding views day and night and interior was very comfortable. Our host went above and beyond to meet all of our needs. Will definitely stay here again if we travel to Tucson.

I don’t normally give reviews but this place is top notch. It looks like new construction and is beautifully decorated. It offers incredible night time city views and daytime Mountain Views. It is close to restaurants and great hiking. Karen went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience.

Gem on the Hill

My husband and I had a wonderful time in the casita. The place is very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. We were close to Sabino Canyon and other hiking trails. There are restaurants and shopping close by. The best part was coming back and enjoying the amazing views of the city. The sunsets were spectacular! Karen is an amazing hostess! We will definitely come back!

Absolute Gem!!

Incredibly beautiful space with above and beyond gracious host. Situated in the most desirable foothills location, this property offers breathtaking day and evening views from a wonderful wrap around porch, along with many large windows. Designed with everything in mind, it is truly spectacular with neverending little touches. The host, Karen, is delightful, extremely accommodating and very attentive in assuring that our every need was met. My daughter and I were sad to leave. Albeit, we plan to return, soon. Thank you, Karen!

Beautiful home with a million dollar view

This house has a beautiful view set in the foothills of tucson. Fully equipped kitchen wit cabinets full of supplies and every tool a chef would want or need. We loved it so much we rarely left the property. Perfect for 2 people, the Hostess Karen was very helpful and kind. We will definitely return here again and stay longer next time.

Couldn’t ask for a better get-a-way!

From beginning to end this location with stunning views of Tucson was perfect. The kitchen is equipped with all you would need to make any simple meal or gourmet cooking. The host thought of everything you might need while staying at this wonderful place. We would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful hilltop casita to anyone. We truly enjoyed our stay and wished we had stayed longer than 5 days. We relaxed and took in the views. You will love the wrap around porch with the hummingbird feeder!! Our host was also very gracious.

Wonderful in every way!

My husband and I had an exceptional experience at Karen’s Casita. Listing photos accurately portray this very clean rental and it is equipped with everything you need for either a short or long stay in Tuscon. It is situated in a very safe neighborhood, conveniently close to restaurants, food stores, pharmacies, etc. Karen, the home owner, lives adjacent to the rental and is the queen of hospitality in my estimation. A five star plus rental with unbelievable views!

Stunning Casita in the Catalina Foothills

There are no words to describe our experience and our stay at the casita. We received excellent communications from the property owner right from the beginning of booking our stay and just prior to our stay. The casita is situated in one of the best locations in the Foothills with amazing panoramic views of the city and the mountains. The property owner designed this well-appointed casita in a tasteful manner with every modern amenity you could imagine. The stone and neutral tones of the walls and furniture made it quite relaxing. The single king-sized bed was a comfortable experience with memory foam and the casita itself was amazingly quiet. We did get to meet the property owner and was beyond kind and welcoming. She gave us her phone number to text her if we needed anything. The casita is located close to everything and only within a short drive. We are looking forward to staying there again. The only downfall-we had to leave and go back home to Pennsylvania!
