Wonderful Place!!!

We needed a place to visit my wife's sister. This was perfectly located and had incredible charm. Views were awesome- especially sunsets. Close to restaurants and food shopping. Great vibe and decor- host was easy to work with and accomodating.

Wonderful Stay

The house was just as pictured and we had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The house is so airy and bright and the grounds were lovely. The location was great and most attractions are just a 20 minute drive. As someone else mentioned, Trader Joes was a mile away which was super convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home located in the middle of Tucson, but feels like an oasis. I originally booked for 4 nights, but it was so peaceful and mentally healing, that I added 2 more nights.

We will be coming back. The best place away from home! Maribel is the best host ever! The location is a ten. She provided everything we needed. Very private casita which felt safe to us!

Desert Dream

This beautiful desert casita is the perfect place to relax, dream dreamy dreams, watch amazing sunsets and wake up refreshed to the sound of singing birds. Gorgeously decorated, the casita if full of doors that open to mountain views. When you do feel like leaving, downtown Tucson is an easy drive as are the museums and gardens - all worth a visit.

The home was beautiful with a real Spanish style decor. Host was great and very accommodating. The only suggestion would to have better curtains. We felt a little exposed at night.

Amazing house and amazing host

This house was amazing and it’s better than the photos. Wonderful kitchen and sleeping arrangements. The mattress were very confortable and high quality, like all the furniture of the house PLUS it is decorated with a refined taste. The host ( Maribel ) is an amazing host. She is friendly and helpful. SO we highly recommand this property.

Exceptional, unique property!

La Casa Que Canta is a very special find. Convenient location in Tuscan but surrounded by more than an acre of peaceful desert gardens with meandering paths and seating areas. The house is beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you will need. Maribel is a lovely host with excellent communication. You won’t be disappointed!!

Tucson? Put “La Casa Que Canta” at the top of your list

This unique and beautiful casita is located on a four acre plot on the east side of the city. It’s a quiet desert feel within the convenience of a city. Designed by a talented, and welcoming host, you’ll enjoy a special place where old world meets modern conveniences. We enjoyed a month here and loved it. A second casita is attached to the main house so we we able to have family join us while having their own private space. Could not recommend it more highly.

enjoyed stay

Nice place...King beds and added non see through curtains would have been nicer, bathroom window also needs a curtain. bath is open to bedrooms so you have trouble relaxing if you get my drift going to use restroom as you feel people in high rise behind can see you, bring your air freshener.

Most Unique and Best VRBO Stay Yet

La Casa Que Canta is decorated with rustic touches, yet modern. It is located on a beautiful piece of property. We loved the open floor plan. The large windows bring the outdoors in and the landscaping is meticulously cared for. The property is private yet close to shopping, grocery, restaurants, hiking, winery, skiing and the Saguaro National Forest. Maribel was knowledgeable about surrounding areas and her suggestions were perfect for us. You must visit Los Milics Winery! You will not be sorry you booked this property. I loved everything about it and you will too!

Gorgeous location!

Mirabel was amazing to work with!! The property was gorgeous!! The only thing I wish I could change was the bed and pillows were way too hard. Also, if you are modest or have to get up and need privacy in the morning you won’t have it. It is all an open concept in the bedroom/bathroom which was beautiful but not practical. But this place was a five star it was top notch amazing!

A Little Gem in the Desert

We stayed at La Casa Que Canta for 1 week with our two small dogs. The casa was clean and tastefully appointed. The manicured garden was perfect for morning and evening walks with our dogs. The property is conveniently located in a quite neighborhood close to hiking and shops. The extra touches made our stay special, like the welcome bottle of wine and specialty coffee and hot chocolate, essential oil shower gel and hand made soap. The casa has amazing views of the Catalina Mountains and is bright and light. There are lots of big picture windows with translucent or no curtains so may not be optimal for people who are sensitive to privacy. However, it was fine for us. Really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

The perfect experience.

Can't say enough of how perfect the Casita is. The level of detail everywhere is breathtaking. It is in a great part of Tucson very accessible to restaurants and at the same time hidden and relaxing. HIGHLY reccomend.

Perfect casita in a great location!

You will find that Maribel's casita is very special place to stay! New construction with an authentic, classy, ecclectic and tasteful vibe. The location cannot be beat. We felt like we were out in the desert but we were just minutes from everything. The housekeeping is fantastic, everything was very clean and well cared for (kudos to Maribel's housekeeper!). Although we did not need anything it was nice to know that Maribel was close-by if we had. We hope to return the next time that we are in Tucson. Thank you for a great stay!!
