"Good location in centre of Sherborne. Very reasonably priced room and the staff are friendly and helpful. The pub has a car park and is also just 5/10 minutes walk from station. The delightful Sherborne abbey is just a very short walk from the inn and there are numerous restaurants nearby. The room was very comfortable although there was occasional noise from the bar downstairs or outside tables. The Abbey is close by and the clock chimes might bother some. "This was one of the best experiences I’ve had in all of England staying at this charming inn. The food was outstanding as well as the service and staff. I would highly recommend this to anyone, especially if you want to visit several of the southern Pride and Prejudice movie sites such as Stourhead or Wilson House. Stonehenge is also close by! "Fantastic little BnB. A friend an I were visiting Paul Nicholls' racing stable in Ditcheat, and we didn't know how difficult the walk was along the A-road. Upon hearing we were going, the owner offered to give us a lift in the morning after breakfast (which was also brilliant). Made us feel welcome from the get-go. Thank you for the stay!"
