Lovely stay

Our recent stay in this charming, older home was delightful. Its location in Tropic provided convenient access to Bryce Canyon National Park, which we visited, and we enjoyed the astronomy festival. The location was ideal, the hosts were exceptionally gracious, and the home was well-equipped and comfortable.

Large house with garden in a very quiet place close to Bryce NP. It was appropriate for 4 adults, we spent 2 nights and had a good time there

Great place close to Bryce

The property was exactly as listed, perfect for a quick work trip. Close to the park and plenty of space, would stay again! Marie was an excellent host.

The house was so cute and charming! We stayed with our three children and they loved picking their room. The quilts were adorable and the house was cozy during the cold nights. The kitchen is fully stocked. Only a 4 out of t for the check in process because we went to check in and realized we were supposed to let the host know 48 hours ahead of time, which we hadn't done, and we're concerned we wouldn't be able to get in. If this happens to someone else and the host is unavailable, that would be a bummer. But we chatted with both Scott and Marie, and they were lovely and welcoming!

Marie and Scott are very hospitable. The fresh apples we picked were delicious. Definitely will stay here again!

Great location

This place was a great location to Bryce Canyon. It was in walking distance to restaurants, store and cute coffee shop. The owners were very nice and check in was easy. Well stocked laundry room, shower and kitchen.

When we arrived at the house the owners were there to see us in the house . The house was wonderful and clean. Scott and Marie the owners were wonderful I would suggest everyone stay with them

Peaceful and close to the parks

The hosts were kind and attentive. The setting and accommodations, with the surrounding sheep farm with apple orchard, was quiet and peaceful and fun for our family. We were close to the national and state parks, and we enjoyed the little grocery store and the coffee shop at the end of the block.

Property was perfect for three guys on a hiking trip. Many more could have slept there. Perfect location to Bryce Canyon and Zion. Owners were super friendly

A quaint house for our stay

We had a great stay in this home. It was very comfortable for 5 friends hiking together. Reminded me of the farmhouse where I grew up. The hosts live across the street and are lovely people. Highly recommend!

spacious place near bryce

Owners were very friendly. We liked playing hide and seek in the many bedrooms. Everyone had their own bed/room, which was a nice break from all of us sharing 2 queen beds in a hotel :)

Great location to Bryce Canyon and cute town

Overall we were happy with the stay. Owners are wonderful people and very responsive. Tropic was a great little town to stay in for a Bryce Canyon trip. House was outdated but clean. Plenty of space and beds for a large group if necessary. Only complaints were the TV really struggled to get a good connection and the house had a lean to it.

Very nice little house

Plenty of room for everyone. Comfortable beds. Convenient to walk to anywhere in Tropic. Nice yard to sit outside in the evening and chat. We did not spend much time there during the day. Served us well and would stay there again.

great home base for Bryce visit

Great home base for two friends visiting Bryce. I need a kitchen in which to cook, and this place worked well for us. The local grocery store was limited, very glad I bought food in Moab. Comfortable beds. Lots of room. Good internet. Friendly hostess.

Super peaceful spot

A wonderfully quiet, comfortable house situated on adjoining farm land. Loads of bed options and kitchen stocked with essentials and then some. At night can see tons of stars being away from it all. The picnic table out back (could use with a refresh) was an amazing spot to take in peaceful breakfast and dinner. Fantastic views. A short drive to Bryce Canyon park entrance. The hosts were extremely warm and attentive. Would absolutely stay again.

RI and Maryland Family

Marie met us when we arrived at her rental home. She was pleasant and made sure we had all questions answered. When we entered the rental we were pleasantly surprised with the nostalgic surroundings. The rental was very clean and met all of our needs. Marie tied a surprise gift which was handmade for us on our car door. We would certainly recommend her home to all!

Great stay in Tropic

We stayed in this cute little farmhouse in Tropic. We only had 4 in our party but this home would sleep at least 12. Well equipped with everything you need. Homeowners were great and very generous. Apple and pear trees in the yard. Mr. Barton shared peaches with us too. Had a great time. We visited Bryce Canyon and Zion. Thank you for sharing your home.

Amazing Hosts

Nice property 15 mins away from Bryce Canyon National Park. Groceries conveniently located. Hosts Scott and Marie were very welcoming and they also shared fresh produce from their garden and apples from their orchard. Nice experience. Property also has a basement with rooms. The house is dated but we were hardly in the house but the location and the great hosts make up for it.the kids loved the house. We also were able to see stars and faint Milky Way from the backyard.

This is a nice older home that reminded us of staying at grandma‘s house. (Imagine uneven floors and wallpaper decorating.) The living room and kitchen were large spaces to gather. The home was clean and perfect proximity to town and to Bryce Canyon national Park. There was a field behind us with three sheep and an apple orchard. The owners told us to pick as many apples as we wanted. At dusk, we were entertained by several mule deer who jumped over the fence to the field and grazed on the apples.Since it was fall and the owners had more than enough cherry tomatoes in their garden, they even had us come over and pick cherry tomatoes and a few cucumbers. Very friendly, nice owners. We would definitely stay here again.

Stay in Tropic

This is a very old home and quite dated. The second bathroom is in the basement and the stairway to the basement is narrow. There are a couple bedrooms downstairs as well as two on the main floor. The kitchen was well equipped and the host was very kind. She lives across the street and brought us fresh tomatoes from her garden and let us pick some apples from her orchard. It is a short drive over to Bryce Canyon National Park.
