Welcome in our villa fully surrounded by a lush mediterranean greenery, in the heart of Tropea, only a few paces from the beaches and with any services just behind the corner. Cozy loft in Art Nouveau Villa that can accommodate up to 4 people inside an ancient Art Noveau Villa built in the 1800 and recently remodeled. Full access to a private Mediterranean garden that offer an outdoor kitchen, barbecue and outside shower which is magical after a day at the beach. Equipped of all comfort and additional outdoor kitchen and amenities, full access to garden with outdoor kitchen, barbecue and shower surrounded by a stunning greenery!
Ideal for culture-interested tourists and people being excited about immediately taking part in the hustle and bustle of one of southern Italy's most beautiful coastal towns. Also well accessible on foot – via stairs directly down from the centro storico – is within 0,4 km the fine sandy beach “della Rotonda”. It is situated picturesquely between the pilgrimage church “Madonna dell'isola”, enthroned on a sand-stone rock towering above the sea, and the town centre.
Our villa it is located only a few paces from the historic centre of Tropea, to get the centre of attraction at the Capo Vaticano it take 10 minutes by car or local train.
In front of a tastefully furnished holiday house on the rear side of the villa you find a beautifully laid-out garden.
The apartment is equipped with modern built-in kitchen, on the ground floor of the apartment there is a kitchen-cum-living room a bathroom with shower/WC/bidet. Also on a spiral staircase you access the elegant sleeping gallery with double bed.
Downstairs a comfortable double sofa offers another 2 sleeps. (King size bed and a pull out sofa queen bed )
The kitchen-cum-living room is equipped with modern built-in kitchen, double sleeping couch and TV satellite. Wi-FI internet connection available.
The garden has a large, partly roofed, terrace which offers a washing machine, a stone grill (barbecue) and also an outdoor kitchen.
The nearest shops are literally around the corner. Interesting for train travellers: Tropea's train station is only 500 m away. Motorists may park their vehicle on one of the parking spots on the street in front of the house.

Das komplett renoviert Appartement verfügt über einen privaten Eingang, großen Garten mit Palmen und exotischen Pflanzen und Parkplatz. Für gemütliche Grillabende stehen den Gästen zur gemeinsamen Benutzung im Garten ein Grill, Kochecke, Waschtrog und Aussendusche zur allgemeinen Verfügung.
Durch die zentrale Lage sind Sie nur einen Katzensprung von allen wesentlichen Einrichtungen wie Supermarkt, Postamt, Apotheke, Tabak- und Zeitschriftenhändler, Bar und Bäcker entfernt. Zum wunderschönen Sandstrand von Tropea sind es zu Fuß 5 Min. und auch der Bahnhof von Tropea ist zu Fuß in nur 5 Min. zu erreichen, sodass Sie auch ohne eigenes Fahrzeug problemlos mit der Bahn Ausflüge entlang der Küste unternehmen können. Capo Vaticano ist nur 10 Min. mit Zug oder auto zu erreichen.
Eine rund 800 Kilometer lange, buchtenreiche Küste, über 2000 Meter hohe Berggipfel und mehr als 450.000 Hektar dichte Wälder machen Kalabrien zu einem Geheimtipp für den naturliebenden Urlauber. Außerdem finden Sie zahlreiche herrliche Strände und Sonne pur, die zu allen Arten des Wassersports einladen.
Tropea ist ein kleines Städtchen mit eine wichtig und wunderschon Altstadt mit Geschäften, einladenden Cafés, Restaurants und einer eindruckvollen Kathedrale aus dem 12. Jahrhundert und alten Palasten. In kurzer Zeit erreicht man das Silagebirge, das dicht mit Oleander, Mispeln, Buchen- und Kiefernwäldern bedeckt ist.

Cute flat unfortunate issue

The hot water in the shower did not work for most of our stay, the issue was flagged multiple times but only resolved on the last day. One of the days we had to boil water to shower as hot water was not working at all. A somewhat adequate compensation was initially offered but later he changed the terms, saying extra charges for linen and towels "were being waived" and that was part of our compensation, however, at the time of booking and writing this review there is no mention of said charges on listing, so this is misleading information. He mentioned the guest in the next flat had no problems with hot water but I can see their review now and they had the same issue.  The flat location is good, and the bed is comfortable but is not king size but 2 singles together. The rest of the flat is small and works better for 2 people, but it's cute, although quite dark at times as light is hard to reach inside. The garden patio is pleasant, just please note it's shared with the other flat. The bathroom photo is not accurate, it is from the other flat. The actual bathroom has a different layout and has a shower curtain that needs to be changed as it has black mould. We didn't use the kitchen for cooking so can't comment on its amenities but I don't remember having an oven and microwave. There is a small charge that must be paid in cash at the property that is also not included on the listing.  The issue was raised with v.rbo but no further resolution was given.

Paradise on the Coast of the Gods

It is exactly as it looks. So beautiful and peaceful. Well equipped and in the center of everything. Pasquale could not have been nicer and more accommodating. We enjoyed our stay tremendously, and did not want to leave .I am looking forward to going back. It was like going to my relative's home, so comfortable!

Wunderschön

Eine malerische Villa mitten in Tropea mit einem sehr fürsorglichen und stets hilfsbereiten Gastgeber. Das einzige, das unsere Kinder ein bisschen gestört hat, waren die Mücken. Aber das ist wohl der Preis für einen kühlen Garten inmitten einer heissen Stadt. dafür war aber tatsächlich alles gleich um die Ecke :-)

Favoloso!

We stayed at Pasquale's beautiful apartment (which is even more stunning than on the pictures) and had a wonderful time in Tropea! Apartment located in the city center, easy to reach by foot from the station as well as from the sea. Pasquale was not there himself at the time, but he organised his adorable sister Sara to take us to the apartment and care for us. They were the loveliest hosts a guest could hope for! Perfect experience, THANKS!
