This was our second time staying at the Britannia, and we enjoy the hotel very much. The service is top-notch and the hotel is located very convenient to shopping and dining. Two things of note - the breakfast is run like a "fine dining" experience, with many staff hovering, and that is not needed - it is a breakfast buffet, show us to our table, serve coffee, and then leave the diners alone. Our main complaint, though, was the Wifi, or lack of Wifi, on the 6th floor. For 3 days we struggled to get a poor Wifi signal and failed. When I asked at the front desk, I was told that "we're having problems with the Wifi on the 6th floor. Really?? At the room prices charged, the Wifi should be lightning quick and always available. I've had better Wifi at a small-town Holiday Inn in the U.S. The Britannia should have an IT staff available 24/7 to fix any Wifi issues at the prices that you charge. Come on, you can do better than that!
