The Amenities at Villa Morgensünn
The high-quality amenities at Villa Morgensünn leave nothing to be desired and are evident right from the bright entryway. The first floor features an open, loft-style layout. In addition to comfortable furniture, the cozy living area features a home theater system with a Bose sound system. Thanks to the large patio doors, the entire living area is bright and flooded with natural light. Opposite the living room is the large, open, and fully equipped kitchen with its own dining area and extendable table. High-quality kitchen appliances make it easy to prepare even elaborate meals. For coffee lovers, there’s also an espresso machine with a separate coffee grinder. Additionally, the first floor features an utility room with a washer and dryer, as well as a guest restroom.
A spiral staircase leads to the upper floor. Straight ahead is the exclusive bathroom, featuring a double vanity, a luxury bathtub for two, a bidet, an open shower, and a towel warmer. The two separate bedrooms are located to the left and right of the staircase and are furnished to a high standard. Special attention was paid to selecting back-friendly mattresses. Both bedrooms are equipped with double beds. There is also a reading and game room on the upper floor. This is the ideal retreat if you want to read or enjoy music in peace. And if there’s a disagreement over what to watch on TV, no problem. A second TV is available for you in this quiet retreat.
The garden is over 500 m² and features a sandbox, slide, and climbing tower. Two terraces facing east and south invite you to enjoy breakfast outdoors, relax, or sunbathe. On the south terrace, you’ll find a beach chair. Additionally, the separate building houses the property’s own infrared sauna with a relaxation area and shower.
For all barbecue enthusiasts, a dedicated grill area has been set up, where you can also smoke fish or meat using a smoker grill. So you don’t have to grill alone, there’s a unique seating area here in the form of a bench made from half an Indonesian fishing boat. And if it gets too hot, a mirabelle plum tree provides shade.
An 11 kW wallbox (Type 2 plug) is available for charging electric cars. In complete peace and quiet during your vacation, you can quickly recharge your electric vehicle—completely naturally—with “green” electricity from renewable energy sources, as a photovoltaic system supplies a large portion of the Reethaus’s electricity needs.

The modern and luxurious thatched-roof Villa Morgensünn in Vaschvitz on the Wittow Peninsula warmly welcomes you. The vacation home measures approximately 110 m², spans two floors, and can accommodate up to four people. From two separate bedrooms and an exclusive bathroom to a private garden with a playground and sauna, it offers everything you could want. No vacation wish remains unfulfilled here.
Vaschvitz is located in the northwest of the island of Rügen and is bordered to the north by the Wieker Bodden and Breetzer Bodden and to the east by the Neuendorfer Wiek. As far back as the Middle Ages, people crossed the Rassower Strom by boat, as this was the route of the important “Herring Route” trade route, which led all the way to Stralsund. The Rassower Strom strait is approximately 350 meters wide and separates the so-called “Muttland”—the central part of the island of Rügen—from the Wittow Peninsula. Today, you can reach the other side in just a few minutes by taking the Wittow ferry.
The large “Vorpommern Bodden Landscape Nature Park” is practically on our doorstep and, with its rich natural diversity, offers many outdoor experiences. The island of Hiddensee, in particular, is easily accessible by boat from Schaprode. This makes it easy to spend a day trip on Rügen’s car-free sister island. The island, just under 17 kilometers long, is perfect for exploring on foot. A visit to the two lighthouses, Dornbusch and Gellen, is an absolute must.
