The Bay View Brick --Stunning View of Bay



Great for small family or 2 couples, or just one couple wanting room to roam. 4 adults max although we could make room for an extra small child.

Major remodel completed 2018. High end features, not your usual vacation rental in this area. 1200 sq ft semi open floor plan with 2 car attached garage. Everything brand new including all appliances, fixtures, furniture, beds, bedding etc. 2BR, 1 & 1/2 bath. Some vintage pieces to add character.

Close enough to downtown TC (approx 4 miles north) and very convenient to explore all the great things Leelanau County has to offer.

Central air. New electrical, plumbing and mechanicals for your safety and comfort.

Spectrum cable internet (100 Mbps free wifi). Hulu Live, Disney +, Max, Netflix, and Prime as wells as Amazon Music included. 49 inch Samsung Series 8 smart TV.

2 similar sized bedrooms (approx 12 x 14 and 10 x 15 ). Front bedroom has nice view of bay, back bedroom partial view.

1 decent sized spa-like bath (6 x 10) with oversized tub/shower combo. 2 vessel sinks on 6 ft mid-century cabinet with quartz top. Small but really cool half bath added as well carved out of preexisting closet space.

Stunning unobstructed view of West Bay across the street, but without any real access to the water. No significant beach.

Large mostly private back yard with new large concrete patio, grill and fire pit. Teak table and chairs with umbrella. Sunny in the afternoon but shaded after 5 or 6 by large mature trees on hillside in back.

More serene hammock spot in at the back of the property in a nice myrtle patch amongst the trees with a little view of the bay.

Full size washer and dryer were left in the basement to preserve living space upstairs. Basement drywalled, partially finished but still needs work. Basement is oddly accessed from inside garage. Ping pong table in basement.

Please note that we are now being regulated by local government and we must comply to maintain our license to operate .... so you must also. It's easy. Basically, don't disturb the neighbors. No events or parties. No RVs, tents, campers. If you invite guests they must leave during quiet hours. 10 pm - 8 am weekdays, 11 pm weekends.

The host was very welcoming. The house is beautiful. My husband and I stayed here for our babymoon and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect house. It's close enough to Traverse City downtown, but far enough that you don't feel like you're bombarded with people and traffic. The view of the bay was gorgeous. Tammy was very nice and provided lots of information about things to do in the area and the best places to find food. We'd definitely visit this wonderful house and area again!

Property was everything we expected and more!! Location was awesome with a great view and right by downtown Traverse City. My wife, parents and baby stayed for a weekend and was perfect! Very organized and the host was helpful with her messages and notes at the house. Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed the property very much. It was apparent the host focused on guest comfort and fun (clean, ping pong in the basement, lovely festive backyard). The home is on a highway but positives override this as a concern. The lake is across the road, one and a half baths work very well, and the large garage keeps bikes and cars safe and dry, as well as making loading and unloading easier. I am a big fan of the glass touches throughout the home, especially the glass doorknobs. The host seemed very accessible. Good central location between Traverse City, bike trails, and further north.

A Cozy Winter Stay along the Bay!

We enjoyed staying at Tammy’s place and the views of Grand Traverse Bay. Despite the winter weather, her home was very cozy and we enjoyed sitting in front of the warm fireplace. We appreciate how clean and organized her home was, and the thoughtful touches in her home. Our children enjoyed the games and books as well. We hope to be back again soon!

Great location for visits to Sleeping Bear & other areas

Well appointed with everything we needed and loved the fireplace in the living room! Didn't get to enjoy the back yard as it rained most of the time we were there but it looked lovely.

Thanksgiving in Traverse City

Beautiful home with a lake view. Well stocked kitchen which worked well for cooking Thanksgiving dinner. The gas logs gave a great atmosphere as we watched the snow fall outside.

Great location--close to so much to do!

Beautiful view especially at sunrise! SO much to do--quick 5 minute drive into downtown Traverse. I loved the binder in the house that had anything you could want to know! Nicely decorated and clean. Only thing I was a little surprised by was the road noise--but I shouldn't have been-it is right on M-22 just north of Traverse. Beds were super comfy but if you aren't used to traffic some white noise would be helpful! Wish we could have used the back yard it was super cute. We were too busy eating at great restaurants, visiting wineries, shopping and trails all close by! Tammy was a great host--it was easy top operate everything in the house with her written directions.
