  • ¡Esta cabaña es parte de un complejo de la década de 1940 que se actualizó para los estándares 2020! Tenemos varias cabañas a lo largo de 500 pies de frente de agua de Bass Lake. ¡Nos encanta nuestro pedacito de cielo y tú también lo harás! La cabaña tiene dos dormitorios y un baño con lavadora y secadora, y una reina en el dormitorio # 1 y una completa en el dormitorio # 2. Tendría su propio anillo de fuego privado y acceso a las afueras de su puerta al agua. ¡Estamos ubicados a unos 10 minutos de Traverse City, donde puedes disfrutar de todo tipo de diversión! Somos una ciudad foody y tenemos festivales en abundancia durante todo el verano. También estamos a solo 30 minutos del Parque Nacional Sleeping Bear Dunes, donde puede caminar y hacer turismo a su antojo. Tenemos dos kayaks que se pueden usar (compartir con otra cabaña) y podría redondear más si es necesario. Estoy cerca si es necesario, pero no estaré en tu camino si no. Tenemos un máximo estricto de 4 personas, pero tenemos otra cabaña que puede estar abierta cuando desee quedarse, por lo tanto, si desea viajar con amigos o familiares, avíseme y verificaré la disponibilidad.

The location and cabin were absolutely perfect and the hosts response to any questions quick. I would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. Loved all the options included for getting out on the beautiful lake.

It was a cute house right on the water for a weekend stay. The kitchen was stocked and plenty of TP and paper towel. We enjoyed the beds - super soft. The path down to the fire pit was a little rough if you had littles or were unstable on your feet, but it was a great location. Would definitely book here again.

We had an amazing stay at this cottage and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed throughout our stay.The sandy lake access was perfect for our young kids, making it easy and safe for them to play in the water. The lake itself was calm, clear, and ideal for swimming and relaxing. We especially loved spending evenings around the lakeside firepit, and watching the fireworks from the shore was such a memorable highlight of our trip.The family who owns the cottage was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Their hospitality made our stay even more special.We made so many wonderful family memories here and can’t wait to come back!

Great property, location, and host! Bass lake was perfect for relaxing and kayaking with minimal speed racers on the water and the fireworks display on 4th was excellent.

We came for a wedding in the area and had a fantastic stay. The location & Lake were very quiet. Kayaking, a beach bonfire and friends that stayed a couple cabins down made the weekend even better! Cute cabin with all the essentials. We’d totally stay there again.

Cottage was clean and the lake view was nice. The kayaks, paddle boards, and canoe that were provided were nice and we utilized those to explore the lake. There was no central air conditioning for the unit, however, there was a portable air conditioner in the main space. The bedrooms did get a little warm and we utilized the fans provided to circulate the air conditioning. The strike plates on the doors were not properly installed and made the doors hard to open. The hosts were exceptionally nice and friendly. The location of the cabin was nice and close to everything that we wanted to see. Overall, our experience was a very pleasant one and we would utilize this cabin again.

Sweet Cherry Cottage was very clean and comfortable. The lake was nice. I highly recommend this cottage.

We had the best stay. Our cottage was incredibly quaint and clean and just lovely. The lake was beautiful and serene...the perfect place for a relaxing vacation. Incidentally our host was lovely too...thanks Jody for an amazing time!!

Great location..

Really enjoyed my stay. Close to downtown Traverse City but nestled in the woods where it was quiet. Cabin was clean and had everything I needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful getaway

Everything was perfect for our time there. It was beautiful looking out onto the lake. The other cottages next to ours were empty so we enjoyed the privacy and quiet. Kitchen was well stocked for the two of us.

Perfect getaway!

This was the perfect cabin on the cutest lake for a short weekend trip with the hubs. We walked our kayaks down to the lake a few times over our trip and had a blast exploring. This is the perfect spot for some lazy kayaking. We were only a short drive to Bear Dunes and an equally close to Traverse City. We will definitely be staying here again

We had an absolute blast staying in Traverse City. My family and I enjoyed paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming in Bass lake. The cabin was lovely, clean and well stocked with towels, soap, shampoo, and coffee. Staying at this place made me realize how awesome it is to have a washer and dryer!!! The airline lost our bag so we had to do laundry every day in order to have clean clothes. This place rocks!

We really enjoyed our time at this quaint, clean, and quiet lake cottage. The access to kayaks and paddle boards was a huge plus. Our boys (ages 12 and 15) used the paddle boards and my husband and I used the kayaks any day we were at the cottage. It was a short drive into Traverse City and up to Glen Arbor/Sleeping Bear Dunes. This is our third visit to the area but first time at this cottage. We were not disappointed.

Beautiful summer get away

This cottage was beautiful and cozy with spectacular views of bass lake from the couch. There is a sand bar we kayak to and enjoyed the summer sun. The fire pit was a wonderful way to end the summer night. Located 10 min away from Traverse City. Already booked another cabin for Labor day and bringing the kids. Jody was very helpful and quick responses with questions. A 10/10 experience!

Beautiful Lake!!

Vacationed with my daughter and 2 exchange students from France. We had so much fun at this cottage. The lake is very clean and swimmable. The Kayaks and SUPs are great to have. We used them every day. The cottage is really cute and worked well for 4 people to eat, sleep, shower comfortably. Neighboring cottages were friendly, and evenings were quiet. I would happily return again to this cottage especially because it is super convenient to reach all there is to do in the area but tucked away from the crowds.

We had a Peaceful & Wonderful vacation week at Sweet Cherry Cottage!Sunny days we kayaked and had fun on the SUP paddle boards on Bass lake. Morning latte on the deck with beautiful water view, and I loved the milk frother on the krups coffee maker! Nice touches of decor with lakeside and cherry themes. Check in was perfect, and Jody was quick to respond to our questions about the lake depth. So glad she told me about Halls corn on the cob in season-- it is the best Ive tasted.It can be humid on the lake (i had forgotten this fact), the portable AC/dehumidifier in living room was great as well as air purifiers.The perfect cottage for day trips into Traverse, Suttons Bay and Mission Peninsula-- then we could go back to the cottage and enjoy a peaceful evening on Bass Lake. Highly recommended rental !

Great Lake and Cabin

The cabin is as advertised. One of the beds is very comfortable but the other isn’t great. The cabin was clean but it was a little musty. Also we left some peaches on the island and a little chipmunk helped himself. We got him out and let the owner know. They said they have been trying to fight them. All in all it was a good stay. The cabin is well equipped and the lake is great.
