You are located less than one mile from beaches on both East and West Bays and a 15 minute drive to Flint Fields. Downtown TC is a short ride away to dining, shopping and festival events. It was super dark in the bedroom. No windows can make it fill isolated.

Property worked out fine for our family. We were able to cook and take care of what we needed. It did take an hour for the stove to heat up water.

Great little place to stay, very clean and has everything you need - located close to everything in Traverse City without the hassle of downtown congestion for parking and traffic. Owners communicate well and are very nice. Definitely reccommend.

Nice location

Had a nice stay at the Den this past weekend. Check in process was easy and the place was easy to find following the hosts instructions. The Den was clean, tastefully decorated, and well stocked - we appreciated the first aid kit and the extra blankets! Location was great as we were here for a wedding nearby and got to enjoy some local Traverse City businesses as well. Would stay again.

This place was perfect for me and my group of friends. It was cheap yet the location was close to downtown/wineries and was very private being in the basement of a commercial building. Overall great value and would book again.

Great place, nice and clean. Did miss an outside sitting area and some natural light. But overall it was a great place to stay Centrally located to get everywhere we needed to go. Also, great location to take walks in the neoghborhold!

Traverse City Stay

The apartment was very clean and well stocked with appliances, dishes, etc. It was described to be walking distance to downtown. That was a stretch. It is a 10 minute car ride to downtown. The description noted 2 bikes for our use so we left ours at home. There weren't any bikes. The apartment is located below an eye doctor's office. Someone was in the office around 7 AM and you can hear their footsteps, doors closing and muffled voices. Since it is in the "basement", the apartment had no windows so if you wanted to know what the weather was like, you had to go up the stairs and go outside. The contact responded to all questions asked quickly. VRBO sent us a key code for the door which was different than what the contact sent us. There is no air conditioning but did have a large floor fan for circulation.

Cute and confused

We had a difficult time finding the place. I was not aware that the apartments was below an optometrist building. I was looking for an apartment complex and we drove around the block a few times. The place however, was very clean and nicely furnished. I would recommend others to stay. I would also recommend the host include extra pillows in case the pull out couch is used and also recommend seeing how an outdoor seating area could be made in the parking lot. We had beautiful weather and it would have been nice to enjoy coffee outside in the morning but being in a basement had no easy access and the parking lot was all that was available. We made due and overall it was a nice place.

loved our stay at the Den!

We were looking for a place to have a small gathering (6 people) for extended family members to gather post-Christmas. The Den was perfect for us! We had everything we needed - well supplied kitchen, comfortable setting, nice smart TVs for NFL games, and designated parking in the lot. We were visiting in the winter but everything was conveniently located. Looking forward to a stay in the summer next time.

Very impressed!!

We had a great stay at “the den”. It was clean, comfortable and very cozy. The location was perfect and we were close to downtown TC, which we loved. Would absolutely stay there again! Thank you for a great visit!
