Summary:
Within a mile of downtown TC relax in this urban, moody, second floor unit. It is a great place to unwind after a long day of exploring all the restaurants and shops. CitySide Lofts is centrally located in between East and West bay with access to beautiful parks and beaches. This 2 bedroom condo has shared rooftop access where you can enjoy your morning coffee or watch the sunset with a glass of wine.
The Space:
Walk into our master bedroom that has a king size bed and 2 closets to fit all of your belongings (or new purchases). The master bedroom also has an ensuite bathroom, stocked with toiletry essentials. The guest bedroom has a queen bed along with a flat screen tv. Don't worry if you decide to extend your stay, each unit comes with their own washer and dryer along with basic laundry supplies.
**Pack 'n Play and high chair available upon request**
All of our smart TVs feature streaming capabilities only. Please feel free to access your own streaming service accounts while at CitySide Lofts.
In the living room you will find a sleeper sofa along with a large flat screen tv. CitySide Lofts is just a few blocks away from downtown, known for their delicious restaurants. If you choose to stay in for a night, the kitchen is stocked with all the kitchen essentials (utensils, basic cookware, dishes, keurig). A few K-cups will be provided to get your vacation started on the right foot.
**Each unit has one dedicated parking spot in our lot. Your unit number will match your space number.
**Please keep in mind that our condo is located within the city, on a high traffic road. This is perfect for walking to local attractions, but keep in mind that street noise should be expected.
***If you are staying for more than 14 days we REQUIRE a mid-stay clean, the fee is $70 and it can be scheduled after your booking. The charge will be separate from the cleaning fee and we will send it over through the airbnb resolutions center after the mid-stay clean.
Please note that these units are dog friendly with a maximum of two dogs allowed. We try our best to keep hair allergens away but guests with dog sensitivities should be aware.
There is a $120 pet fee per booking. Please let us know if you plan on bringing your furry friend.
Please read the following rules if you plan to bring a dog or two with you on vacation.
Please clean up after your furry friend, nobody likes stepping in poo.
Supervise your pet at all times and make sure they are kept on a leash if necessary.
Please bring your pet with you if you leave the condo. If you are unable to do so please make sure they are kept in a crate.
Please respect the neighbors and keep the barking to a level zero as best as you can.
If possible please do not allow your pets on the furniture unless you bring an extra sheet or towel for them to lay on. (This goes for the bed as well.)
It is always a great idea to carry your pet vet records incase of an emergency.
Please report any damages immediately.

Roach Infestation
In over a decade of using vacation rentals, I have never left a negative review. I generally overlook minor issues and give the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately in this case, I can’t not leave a truly honest review. While the unit appeared clean on the surface (counters clean, baseboards and floors clean, bathrooms mostly clean), the unit has a COCKROACH infestation. When we first arrived to the unit, we noticed a few very small bugs in the shower and didn’t think much of it, given it’s been a rather warm fall. However, the next day we came back to the unit late in the night and were disgusted when we turned on the lights to find ROACHES scurrying across the floors. There were roaches in the sink on a coffee mug, roaches on the walls, and baby roaches on the floor. I even killed an inch long roach on the curtain. I notified the host and they said they would connect with their pest control company but offered no other solution. I took multiple photos and videos of all the bug activity. We are not bringing anything we brought into the unit back into our home upon our return to avoid bringing bugs into our home. I would not recommend anyone stay here.

Weekend wine tour
Great set up and location. Just a couple minute Uber ride to downtown. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. We were with multiple couples who rented other units and the rooftop deck was awesome for hanging out. I definitely would stay again.

Thumbs down to the bed and noise
My back hurt after sleeping in the master bed. More traffic noise than expected. Guest above us kept us up all night for three nights. Host stated they were reaching out to the guest about noise level but never resolved. You can hear the sliding door opening, furniture scooting across floor and walking from above. We stayed on the second floor in apartment 8. I would not book again.

Short Title
Our overall stay was successful. The location is a 2 min drive to downtown, close to the peninsula and water. The building is right on the busy road, so the traffic noise is loud. There were also other loud guests during our stay. The shared hallways could be cleaner. One of our showers ask didn’t drain properly. It was pricey for what it was.

Good spot to access TC amenities
The condo was a nice spot for my little family to stay during the Cherry Festival. The rooftop deck was an added bonus to enjoy the fireworks for the 4th in the comfort of 'our' temporary place without huge crowds and logistical challenges for parking.

Long weekend in Traverse City
Enjoyed our stay, notwithstanding 2 out of 3 days it rained. Unit was very comfortable/clean. Building is very nice - pretty new. 5 minute drive into downtown. Our only issue was our neighbor upstairs was walking around A LOT. This freaked out our dog a little. Nothing Riley can do to fix the neighbor walking and the weather raining. Up the kitchen utensil game a little - that would be appreciated.

Our go to place for traverse city!
This is our second time at this location and we love it. Very clean, great space for pets and walking distance to the downtown area. The rooftop hangout is also nice - the only other thing I’d wish for is a pool.
