Chandler's Charm - Your Little Piece of Heaven! Dog Friendly - With Fee

Welcome to Chandler's Charm! This adorable cottage lives up to it's name. Beautifully renovated with a huge deck overlooking beautiful all sports Chandler Lake.

If you'd like to travel with your fur baby - we have recently become pet friendly. For an additional pet fee, you are able to bring one dog of 50 pounds or less. Please be sure to select "traveling with pets" to ensure the pet fee is added to your reservation - and tell me about your dog when you're booking.

Take advantage of the awesome sunsets from the large windows in the cottage, the beautiful deck or the lower dock. Enjoy the abundant wildlife that you may see on the road or across the street in the township park. Chandler Lake is a great little lake without a lot of boat traffic. Excellent fishing for large mouth bass, blue gill, sunfish and pike. Great lake for kayaking, floating on rafts, paddle boarding, and hanging out on the sand bar. Enjoy the lake by kayak (2) included in rental. There's a sand bar part way across the lake that you can relax at.

We've truly spent the extra time to create a great vacation get away - from the canoe paddle bed to the pendant lights made from reclaimed minnow buckets. The furnishings of the cottage will make you smile as soon as you walk in the door. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes/pots and pans you'll need for cooking meals - if you so desire. Comfortable beds - with new memory foam mattresses - will be waiting for you after your day on the lake or your day of exploring the beautiful Traverse City area. There is also a brand new mattress for the sofa bed in the living room. A new hot water heater and water softener will add to the pleasure of your stay. A new improvement for 2025 was the addition of a washer and dryer! Our guests have loved having that convenience.

Among the many great things this property has to offer is the wide lot providing extra privacy for you to enjoy the peaceful lake and neighborhood. Directly across the quiet road is an 80 acre park with walking & biking trails, pavilion, small playground and restroom. A little further down the road is Grace McDonald Park with tennis courts/pickle ball courts, basketball, large playground, baseball diamond, expansive trails, grills and picnic tables.

This country setting will make you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, yet you are only minutes from downtown Traverse City and area attractions. It's great to have the best of everything and that's what Chandler's Charm provides.
