The Lodgings at Roaring River Vineyards (RRV) - the hidden gems in the NC mountains. It is located just two miles from Stone Mountain State Park, in the Yadkin Valley Wine Appellation in the heart of NC Wine Country, home of the Blue Ridge Parkway, the NC foothills, and overlooking the Roaring River as far as the eye can see.

Hours of Operation for the Tasting Room & Restaurant which is the same building.
April - October: Thurs - Sat 11 am - 6 pm Sun 12 pm - 5 pm
Nov - March: Fri - Sat 11 am - 6 pm Sun 12 pm - 5 pm
The last seating for dining is 1 hour before closing ALL days.
(Due to our location the tasting room/restaurant being open 7 days a week is not viable, but getting out of the house and relaxing in the mountains is good year round 7 days a week. )

I can’t express how accommodating the staff was for me. I initially booked the serendipity cottage for one night, then decided I wanted 2 nights and they put me in the Birch unit as Serendipity was booked the additional night. Then my race got cancelled, they were so sweet to move my rsvp only to move it back bc I had another commitment that weekend, (I know I drove them crazy) bc I was driving myself crazy. Once we got there the heat was off of course but after 2 hrs it was still so cold. Tom was so kind when I texted inquiring about additional heat, he brought us a heater for the living room. We didn’t get to enjoy the winery as the roads were still bad from all the bad weather- gives me a great reason to go back. However if your looking for a beautiful quiet place to just kick back, relax and escape Roaring River Vineyards is definitely a must. Thank you sooo much.

It was a clean and absolutely cute cabin next to a beautiful view of a little river . Its perfect for a get away or a honeymoon stay or just to reset . The cabin was cozy and had everything you needed to cook with . Definitely will go again 1 day.

Very cute cabin. Just what we needed for our annual trip to drive to mtns to pick out and purchase a Christmas tree from a choose and cut tree farm, plus get some xmas shopping done in West Jefferson NC and drove to the town of Sparta and also drove through stone mtn state park to see Widow falls and seen some deer also. it was a bit cold so we did not use the grill but the grill was actually cleaner than most other cabins we have been in but could use new burner covers and grease from bottom cleaned out. Glad there were some extra salt and shakers available to use due to the one above the stove had bugs in it which i did dump in trash. Other than that cabin was nice and cozy. Enjoyed our stay. would recommend this cabin to friends.

Hot tub and fireplace are no where near cabin. The entire listing is inaccurate as none of the amenities are close to the cabin. Owner communication very slow...maybe because wi fi did not work. Cable channels gobbled to by other tenants so we had to plug in a laptop to watch. Would not recommend.

The vineyard is a nice quiet place. The unit we stayed in does not have a view of the river… Just a view of the building in front of it but it is nicely decorated. It was very dusty, causing me to sneeze and be congested while I was there; if you have allergies, it’s probably not the best option. My husband ended up dusting several areas of the unit while we were there. The side door would not lock. It was held closed with a chain so the door could still be cracked. Although the air conditioning unit worked, it still did not cool down the cabin very well. The bed is reasonably comfortable. The Wi-Fi is spotty, so just be aware that your phone may or may not work while you were there the washcloths and towels or thin and rough.The restaurant is wonderful on the property and I highly recommend it! There are other units on the property that appeared to be a better choice if we come back to stay the night.

View was horrible. We were 12ft from the storage building of an outdoor venue. Disappointing view. No one advised the bridge was out and we had to backtrack and take a detour. Space was SMALL. Don’t plan on going back.

The area was very relaxing and had lots of privacy! Stone Mountain was very close so it was great to go there and then not have to drive so far back to the cabin. Cozy place, loved it.

Peace and quiet

Wonderful property. We were looking for a peaceful, quiet and serene weekend. That's exactly what we got. Every morning, with a cup of coffee, we would seat on the porch and end up watching the trout in the river under the covered meeting area. At night, we would enjoy the silence of the night with the sound of the river .. so relaxing.We signed up for the Cloud Wine VIP membership, because we enjoyed the property so much.We highly recommend you stay at this property or one of the other lodging options on the premises.Almost forgot, the wine and food are incredibly tasty.

Serendipity Cabin is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation. The location along the river is idyllic, and the cabin is very private. Even though the cabin is a studio, the kitchen is well stocked and has everything you might need. We appreciated the proximity to Stone Mountain State Park where we hiked and fished. Sampling the vineyard's wines on the riverfront deck was very enjoyable.
