"I loved this house! It is old and charming but remodeled. Everything was very clean. Both beds were very comfortable. It’s just outside downtown so it’s close to everything but quiet. I will be coming back every time I’m in Anderson to visit my father. Highly recommend staying here. "

"I booked this house for a girls weekend to celebrate my little sister getting married. Overall we had a good experience here and would book again. The home was overall clean other than needing a little bit of pest control (large black ants and a singular palmetto bug, nothing crazy). The dock was really nice but the ladder on it was not in good shape so we weren’t comfortable using it. "Plenty of space for our family of 4 and 2 dogs to fully enjoy our long stay. The beds are comfortable. Very spacious ensuite with a large closet & laundry room. Lots of places to sit, relax and enjoy the surrounding woods. We saw deer roaming everyday. Its in a very nice secluded location. We were staying due to construction happening at our home, but this place felt like a vacation."

"Wonderful, peaceful and welcoming home. Reese Retreat is as soothing as a visit to grandma's. The lake is very relaxing and quiet. The road is a bit winding and long so you will want to hit the grocery store first. We had a very nice stay."

"The owner, John, is an exceptional host and made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is so convenient to Downtown Seneca restaurants and grocers. We would recommend this home as a fair value. "

"This town home is amazing. It is even better than it looks in pictures. The host was so gracious and accommodating. The home allows for everyone to hang out as a family, but allows for groups to congregate in many different area of the house. We didn’t get to check out all of the amenities, but what a saw looked amazing. We will definitely stay again. It’s perfect for Clemson families. Gets you out of the chaos, but not too far out of town. "

"Main floor was clean but basement and loft, cleaners missed a lot. It was very dusty with lots of cobwebs. Cleaners have missed a lot of places over and over again. The downstairs deck was full of pollen and so dirty we couldn’t sit out there. Wish there was an umbrella on top deck- no shade or cover when rains. Wish there was somewhere to put suitcases but w no closet space and no dresser tops, suitcases were all over floors. Was just hoping for a cleaner space for what we paid. Overall it was...
