"Our stay was mainly ok, however the food at dinner service in Astons was absolutely abysmal. The goat cheese starter I had, had clearly been plated hours before and put in the fridge until ordered because the chicory was curling and everything had a noticeable ‘crust’ to it. I ordered the lobster ‘special’ which was raw- including the tortellini, I do like Al dente but this was inedible. Didn’t eat it and was really hungry when I left. "Staff was incredibly accommodating and kind. The location is a bit further out which means you should plan travel accordingly. The rooms were clean and the staff gave you all the information you needed if you had to contact them."
