  • In the middle of the beautiful Värmland forest in Nyskoga (municipality Torsby) is this romantic, typically Swedish, holiday home for rent. A beautiful place to relax but also to use as a base for long forest walks, canoe trips on the lake or bike rides in the beautiful surroundings.

    In winter it is a half hour drive from Nyskoga to the ski areas of Branäs and Hovfjället. We are happy to leave the bustle of the Alps behind us and to ski in Branäs for a few days (see Our new love is cross-country skiing: in Branäs as in Hovfjälle there are trails of various levels of difficulty.

    The house has a kitchen, a sitting room, three bedrooms and one
    bathroom. On the kitchen side the house has a covered veranda. All around
    the house is a spacious garden. There are a number of barns in the garden
    including a wood barn with sufficient firewood. In one of the other
    barns include the table tennis table and the inflatable canoe
    find.

    The layout of the holiday home is as follows:
    - Kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, oven and dishwasher
    - Lounge with television, DVD player and chromecast
    - Bathroom with shower, toilet, sink, washing machine and dryer
    - Three bedrooms (two on the first floor, one on the ground floor) with a total of six sleeping places
    - Covered porch
    - Garden around

    There are many ways to get to Nyskoga: for example with your own car via Denmark and 'the Bridge' from Copenhagen to Malmö. In addition, there are all boat connections of which the night boat from Kiel to Gothenburg (see very attractive. What is also an interesting option is by plane to Oslo Gardermoen and rent a car there. KLM and Norwegian Air fly from Amsterdam to Gardermoen and if you book on time you will have a return ticket for less than € 100. From Gardermoen you are in Nyskoga in 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Das Ferienhaus entspricht genau der Beschreibung. Die abgelegene Lage war für uns kein Problem. Die Nähe zu Norwegen und zum Hovfjäl nutzen wir für schöne Ausflüge und vielen Wanderungen. Die Umgebung ist sehr Tierreich,Elche im Garten und auch eine Eule konnten wir beobachten.Wir kommen gerne wieder

Sehr schön, sehr bequem, gut ausgestattet

Wir waren zwei Wochen im schwedischen Sommerwald. Das Haus liegt ca. 40 km vom Zentrumsort Torsby entfernt. Das Ferienhaus mit kleinen Nebengebäuden befindet sich auf einer kleinen Lichtung oberhalb und in Sichtweite der Landstraße Richtung Norden (stört kaum). Die Einrichtung ist gemütlich, zweckmäßig und vollständig. Geschirr, Besteck, Töpfe, Pfannen, ein Backofen und eine Kühlgefrierkombination sind in gutem Zustand vorhanden. Uns hat nichts gefehlt. Wir haben die tolle Natur des Värmlands (inkl. dreier Elchsichtungen) sehr genossen. Die Gegend ist bestens durch gut ausgezeichnete Wanderwege erschlossen.

Schöne Idylle in gehobenem Standard

Wir wurden vom Vermieter, obwohl Last Minute gebucht und er selbst nicht vor Ort sein konnte, sehr gut betreut. Das Haus ist wunderbar, es bietet viel Gemütlichkeit, ist absolut sauber und gepflegt und auch an Regentagen lässt es sich gut zu Fünft darin leben. Ein See ist in der Nähe und der Wald bietet viele Möglichkeiten kleine Entdeckergeister zufriedenzustellen. Die Umgebung ist absolutes Elchland. Am späten Abend sind uns viele über den Weg gelaufen. Alles in Allem eine wunderbare Adresse um sich zu erholen!

Eine Auszeit im Finnskogen

(Sommerurlaub) Ein sehr gemütliches und tolles Haus an einer Straße in Richtung norwegische Grenze. Hier bist du mit wenigen Wochend-Nachbarn inmitten des Finnskogen, kannst als Basecamp tolle Wanderungen planen: Hovfjället, Granberget, Letten rund,..mach dich fit! Elch, Schwalbenschwanz und Mücke werden dein Freund. Ab und zu rasen die Autos zu laut vorbei. Ein sehr bemühter Vermieter aus NL trotz Coronazeiten. Viel Spaß

Wunderschön gemütliches Haus in der Natur

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen ruhigen Urlaub in diesem stilvoll eingerichteten, gemütlichen Haus mitten in den Wäldern von Värmland. Im Garten kann man Feuer machen/ grillen und auch an regnerischen Tagen auf der großen Terasse verweilen. Auch mit Kleinkindern ist es perfekt , da es im Garten viel zu entdecken gibt. Wir haben unweit des Hauses Elche getroffen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche in diesem tollen Haus. Es war bei Ankunft sauber, bietet alles an Annehmlichkeiten was man im Urlaub so braucht und ist wirklich gemütlich eingerichtet. Vom Freund des Besitzers wurden wir herzlich begrüßt und bekamen hilfreiche Tipps für einen erfolgreichen Urlaub. Eine Elchkuh mit Kälbchen kam abends direkt vor unserer Haustür vorbei und ließ sich ausgiebig von uns knipsen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Sehr schönes, ruhiges, rundum perfektes Haus. Innen sehr geschackvoll modernisiert. Ein Juvel.

Perfekt für ruhesuchende, naturliebende - Elch im Wald vorm Haus inklusive. Wilde Blaubeeren, Himbeeren und Erdbeeren zum pflücken wenn man mag. Das Haus ist ein Juvel. Alles sehr neu - einfach schön.

Perfect house for summer and winter

We stayed here with the three of us first week of March with incredible amount of snow. The house is just perfect and even better when the wifi is installed in April :) . You can do lots of things close by like snow scooter safaris, husky slaying and Skiing in Branas or one of the other ski areas close by. The host Joseph is a very welcoming guy and always willing to help with whatever needed.
