Very considerate host! We found ourselves crunched for time to make it to an early wedding. They were extremely helpful and got us access to make it in time for the wedding. Place was comfortable, clean, and well stocked. Neighborhood was quiet and felt extremely safe. We only spent one night, but it was great!

Great condition and very nice setup for a basement. I would, however, mention that several of the plugs in the kitchen do not have power. Additionally, the cell connection in the basement is inconsistent, and the closer you are to the kitchen, the weaker the connection becomes. The lights at the side of the property are currently solar powered and therefore are hit or miss whether they will be working in the evening. It was a nice place to stay overall.

I stayed at this place a month. Traveling for work and needed a temporary place. Terry is an extremely anxious and overbearing person to deal with. Everything was taking out of proportion. Apartment is not as advertised. It was clean but furniture was old and worn out. They were saving on heat. The basement apartment was cold. They controlled the thermostat. I was at home only in the evening and that was enough to freeze. In the end, 8 days after I moved out she sent me pictures of her old cheap desk that was already chipped as something I did and had to reimburse her for it. I took a photo of that desk on the morning I moved in. She also tried to pass into me some minor scratches on top of her washer machine, lol, I used a few times during my stay. Do yourself a favor, find a better apartment and a better host that is not going to try to extort additional money from you. Shameless. With all the Christmas and good bye gifts from me she ended up harassing me for more money. If you will rent her place, take photos of everything, even tiny lines on walls or about anywhere. What a petty person.

The place was clean. But communication with host was poor prior to arrival (did not confirm my other guests) and poor during the stay. Called me to move car to put on other side of driveway despite no previous instructions. Most importantly, the host attempted to charge me a significant extra cleaning fee after checkout when place was left pristine. At first the host said it was “very dirty” then when asked to provide proof, they proceeded with character attacks and stating chairs were broken (story changed with time). Upon review by VRBO, these claims were not upheld and attempted charge was dropped. Stay at your own risk and take pictures before you leave. I have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism and hostility on 50+ stays prior to this.
