At 215 ft, Taughannock falls is tallest single drop waterfall east of the Rocky Mountains and is taller than Niagara Falls. You can get spectacular views of the Cayuga lake from above the gorge and rim trails and can take pictures from both the bottom of the falls or by taking a trail or driving to a viewing area opposite the falls. #waterfalls #statepark #parks

The Ithaca falls has a drop of 150 feet and is175 feet wide, and one of the most powerful waterfalls in the region. It supplied water to the around a 1/2 dozen mills that operated there in the 19th century. The plunge pool is popular among anglers who stop by for lake-run trout and salmon. #waterfalls #fishing
