Todd, NC - This cozy log cabin comes quaintly furnished with brand new furniture and is conveniently located just off scenic Hwy 194S on a quiet lane. Close to Boone, West Jefferson, Todd and the Blue Ridge Parkway, you can hike or take a walk with your dog directly from the front door. The cabin is tastefully decorated in warm mountain decor.

The main living area includes a stone gas fireplace for cozying on those cool Carolina Mountain evenings, and a dining/kitchen combo fully equipped with everything you need to prepare that special meal for your significant other. A bedroom with comfy new king sized log bed and a bath are also on this level. Upstairs is another bedroom with king bed and bath along with a loft area that offers a king sleeper sofa for extra sleeping. With central heat and air conditioning there's no need to worry about the weather.

Out back, you're sure to enjoy the screened in porch with hot tub and seating area for reading. This creekfront retreat is like being in your own little state park. If a peaceful, quiet and beautiful setting is what you are looking for, this cabin is your best choice. Allows small pets and provides a wonderful, fenced area for children and pets. Note: Pets allowed with a $75 per stay per pet. Airbnb/VRBO will only automatically charge one pet. The host will add an additional $75 for each pet if you are bringing more than one pet.

The surrounding area offers many attractions and site seeing opportunities. Nearby is Mount Jefferson State Park, Elk Knob State Park, New River State Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock and the quaint towns of Boone, Todd & West Jefferson. Enjoy a day at the Farmers Market or explore the many art galleries and local shops in downtown West Jefferson. Take in the breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the world famous swinging bridge at Grandfather Mountain. Make sure to visit Mystery Hill or Tweetsie Railroad while you're in Blowing Rock. Looking more adventure? Then spend the day canoeing/tubing the New River or hiking at one of our state parks. For some winter fun, head to one of our three most popular ski resorts: Appalachian Ski Mtn, Sugar Mtn, or Beech Mtn.
