  • At the foot of the Funeral Mountains, just outside Death Valley National Park, this tiny home is a great basecamp for adventures. Death Valley, Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge, Rhyolite Ghost Town, and Beatty are just a short drive away. Our secluded 4+ acre property has few neighbors and is adjoined by thousands of acres of public land to explore. Hike the Funeral Mountains with abandoned mines right from the front door or visit "Big Dune" Recreation Area just 6 miles away.

Excellent stargazing and beautiful Mountain View’s. Clean efficient living space for the two of us. Low ceilings in sleeping space, crawling in and out of the beds was fun…but beds and pillows were comfortable.

lovely stay!

this was the perfect place to stay on our trip to Death Valley. it was incredibly clean, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we could possible need and it was beautifully decorated. we highly recommend staying here.

Love this tiny house!

This tiny house was amazing! Loved the secluded area and beautiful landscape! Wonderful amenities and Sunny at the local market was so hospitable and welcoming! Such a beautiful place!

Marcus & Misty are wonderful hosts. During my first night at the property, I notified them that one of the bed railings was loose & that the cabinet in the bathroom should have a head stopper. When I returned to the property the second night, these issues had all been addressed. So kudos to the hosts for outstanding customer service & support.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here on our way through Death Valley. Close to popular spots, great AC, kitchen stocked with essentials for cooking. Amazing view of the stars at night!

The tiny home was very clean and comfortable. The location is quiet and dark which allows for great nighttime sky viewing.There is a full kitchen inside and they have a gas grill out on the patio as well. There are two TVs in the house though we never turned them on. We enjoyed the quiet every evening.We spent our days in and around Death Valley. It was great to have such a nice place to come back to every night.The check-in and check-out was very easy and the owner's communication with us was perfect. They were very helpful and answered our texts quickly.I highly recommend this property if you are in the area. It is perfect for a desert get away.

Very cozy and quiet place. We had a wonderful stay, watching stars late night with barbecue, patio is beautiful and clean with chairs and swing to enjoy the mountain view. Also visited Death Valley which was just 1 hr drive from the home. Misty was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. House was also stocked with all the necessary stuffs in kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. Love the place and definitely shall come back with friends to stay longer here.

Off the grid nearby Death Valley

Friendly cozy tiny home close to Death Valley. Stayed there for a night with our Dutch family of 4, with 2 adult children. Home in very good shape, in mostly fresh wooden structures. At night beautiful milky way/star gazing. Misty is a great host.

Beautiful base for Death Valley

Nothing is close to Death Valley, but this is one of the closer spot! Beautiful views of the mountains and deserts from this tiny home. You might struggle here if you're tall, but we found the house nice and cozy.

Beautiful at sunrise and starry nights! Never made sunset at the tiny house, but im sure thats lovely too. Not much in the area, but HIGHLY recommend stopping by Sunny's. She has groceries, snacks and will make you incredible meals! The tiny house is roomy and had everything we needed to end our days visiting Death Valley. Would stay again!
