BEAUTIFUL BAY AND OCEAN VIEW RETREAT! Enjoy spectacular bay and ocean views in this contemporary 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom home in Netarts, Oregon. Just minutes from the beach!

The Vista View Retreat features a commanding straight-on view of Netarts Bay, the Pacific Ocean, and Three Arch Rocks in Oceanside. The perfect place to take advantage of the breath-taking sunsets and witness the drama of coastal storms as they roll in.

Contemplate the sea or lose yourself in a novel from the comfort of the upper room that is dedicated to enjoying the gorgeous view and watching TV. Warm yourself by a crackling fire in the living room while listening to the sounds of the ocean and visiting with family and friends. Walk down the spiral staircase and snuggle into the sofa downstairs and watch an old movie or a football game on the over-sized flat screen smart TV.

Sip wine, create a gourmet meal, and have long, luxurious chats in this well-appointed kitchen. While you are cooking, you can still enjoy the ocean views and the ever-changing hue of the bay as the sun sets or the storms roll in. There is a gas grill for your use stored in the garage space.

Drift off to the sound of the ocean and the smell of salt air. The master bedroom has a private bath, queen bed, and view of the Three Arch Rocks. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and a full bathroom just outside the door. For additional sleeping there is a bunk bed located downstairs that has a double bed on the bottom and a twin on the top.

Bring your beach clothes to layer for sunny or stormy weather. No matter which, be ready for fun-filled days. Watch the sun set over the ocean, take a long deep breath and exhale.

** Note: Up to 2 dogs are welcome to come! There is a $65 pet fee for the additional cleaning required after your departure.
** Note: Your nightly rate includes damage insurance should anything accidentally break or get ruined during your stay.
** Note: I send out a rental acknowledgment to sign electronically after a booking is made. It is very straightforward and simple, but if you would like a copy of the contract beforehand, just let me know! :-)

The home was very welcoming. The kitchen is well stocked. Bedding and towels were plentiful. We liked the separate bedrooms with individual bathrooms. The upstairs TV room is delightful, and we were lucky to have fantastic sunsets. We will save this house for future booking and look forward to sitting on the deck on a warmer night.

We loved the ocean view, it was fantastic. Some of the dishes we had to hand wash because the dishwasher does not get the dishes completely clean. The guest bathroom has dark area that looks like mold and deteriorating sheetrock. These are only small things compared with how much loved sitting on your beautiful deck and watching the sunset.

Really cute spot. It could literally not be cleaner. Check in was very easy. The views are top notch! The bed in the main bedroom is a bit small. And it would have been helpful to have at least a small t v in the main living area. I would say the only major drawback is an odd rubber smell coming from the downstairs toilet.

Views for days!

This place is perfect for our situation. The house is clean. The problem is for the check-in and checkout were super easy. The property manager did a great job, it was great communication was greatly appreciated, I would recommend staying here any day of the week.

Fabulous view of Netarts Spit. Comfortable surroundings, quiet location, convenient drive to Oceanside, Cape Meares, Cape Lookout and Tillamook. Enjoyed Upstairs Bar & Grill along with The Schooner Restaurant.

Such a great place!

I want to thank Sarah, the property manager, and Ruth and her cleaning crew for managing to turn over this rental in time for our arrival. We arrived between two snow storms and it was an endeavor for them to get up the hill to reach the house...but they managed (after two tries) and provided us a clean property as promised. The property was amazing...so well equipped, with a gorgeous view and lovely amenities. Thank you for such a great visit!

Amazing house with breathtaking views

I came to this house with a small group of friends for labor day weekend. The house was perfect! Very spacious to spread out and play games - we loved the upstairs play/game room. It was beautiful to see the sunrise and sunset. The beds could be a little bit more comfortable but all around would stay at this house again!

Relaxing and Enjoyable

What a beautiful setting for a vacation. Serene and close to other sites and parks. I would love to return. Only suggestion for improvement is to have a bench by the front door to accommodate shoe removal. One in the master bedroom would help as well.

The view speaks for itself, I'd stay at this property again just for that. One of the bedrooms is very small and the layout of the property is rather unique but overall this place is great.

Incredible views!

This was a spectacular house. My business partner and I were here for a work retreat and it was absolutely perfect--other than the fact that the stunning views out the gigantic windows were constantly distracting us! :) The house was gorgeous, kitchen was very well equipped as we cooked most of our meals here, and the view from the hot tub cannot be beat. We will find a way to come back for sure!

the view alone is worth it

The home is quite comfortable but I did not rate it at 5. The gas barbecue in the garage was barely operable. The igniter worked for only one burner and the shields over the burners were not the originals and did not fit properly. Fortunately I was only grilling 2 burgers. The vertical blinds in the bedroom on the entry level floor kept falling out of their slots, It was obvious that someone had tried to repair them but they needed to be replaced. There were a few other items like that such as a screw in leg on the 3 leg stool in the basement that would not secure because the threads had stripped out, kept falling out if lifted.

Amazing views and accessible.

We were so happy with this property! We needed a walker accessible property for my dad, and space for 7. My dad could easily maneuver throughout the main floor and onto the deck. The deck and views are truly amazing! We spent many hours out there. Prioritize the sunsets, they are breathless. Bedrooms: The 2 queen beds on the main floor were comfy. The bunk beds were fine for kids. The lower mattress was ok, but not great (would be great for a kid). Every time you rolled over it was very squeaky. Bathrooms: The master bath was awesome, with a jetted tub and shower. It has a very high step into the shower, so you might have to use the other main shower that is walk in. There is a toilet and sink in the lower level, which is great for those sleeping down there. Kitchen: The kitchen had everything we needed, and so nice to cook and look out on to the views. Other: There isn't air conditioning, which is fine, unless you are there on a rare 90 day. Even then the air cools down by evening. We saw 3 deer up close in the driveway and more along the road. Location: The location is in Netarts Bay, about 7 miles from Tillamook, but with the views is worth the drive. There isn't much in Netarts Bay, but Schooners has great food! Drive to Happy Camper to enjoy the bay beach, but head up to Oceanside to their public beach for the Ocean beach. Continue up the coast to the Octopus Tree and Lighthouse.
