I had a wonderful stay! The motel was cozy, peaceful, and exactly what I needed for a relaxing getaway. I slept so well and really enjoyed the quiet surroundings and the beauty of the Sequoia area. It felt simple, comfortable, and welcoming. Definitely a place I would happily come back to!

Room was very clean and welcoming. Location is great, being close to the park as well as good dining options.

Great location

Great location and three rivers right before the Sequoia’s. We only had one little hiccup and didn’t have an extra comforter for the futon, but we were able to get one pretty quickly. Thanks for helping us out.

We stayed in the Whitney Room #7 Room for 3 nights. It was myself and my two boys, 15 & 11 yrs old.. Pros.. Very cute clean looking room. Like how close it is to Sequoia Natl Park. The pool was right there, but we didn’t use it as we were so tired after going to the park then eating a huge dinner that it just didn’t happen. Nice little kitchen area with small fridge and microwave. Cons… The sofa “futon” was not good to sleep on and very small. My 15 yr old had a hard time laying on it and if you sit on the edge it collapses where he fell on the floor. The main bed wasn’t that comfortable. I had a hard time sleeping the 3 nights. Then the queen bed had a wooden lip frame around it which hits the middle on my shin everytime I went to go into the bed. Not cool…. Then the shower which looks nice and has a big shower sprayer, the actual shower was a bit small and the sprayer sprays everywhere. I didn’t want to wash my hair the first night and didn’t have a shower cap. So my hair got wet as there was no way of not getting wet. With that said I felt claustrophobic in the shower when I did wash my hair. The shower sprayer was just too much. I did have the fan on and if I opened the shower door water would get everywhere. This room is very much meant for only two people. Not big people on that note. Also I did feel there was some hidden fees and the price of the place ended up being much more than I thought it was. The most I’ve spent on a room, especially for how small it is.

Check in was a bit disconcerting. The air conditioning was not on in the room (102 degrees outside) and despite trouble shooting with Guest Equity on the phone could not get it operational. Fortunately room 6 was open and hallelujah the air was working! Bed was comfortable and supplies under the sink helpful (soap, sunscreen, aloe, extra garbage bags, etc. Although I scanned the website more than once, did not see the no potable water. I read a review about it so we had plenty of water! Bears repeating! The pool was refreshing and clean. Great location to the National Park! Thank you for a pleasant stay!

Wonderful place...but...

This is an EXCELLENT boutique-type property and the room has been tastefully and beautifully furnished and is well-appointed. We were a little disappointed that we were not able to check in at 4 as advertised...the room was not ready until after 4:30. There is also no potable water, which is mentioned in the listing, but we had forgotten. It would have been nice to be reminded about this important fact in the check-in text and email we received, so that we could have at least brought some water to make coffee in the morning. We also found it odd that we were required to strip the beds before we left - that was a first!

The motel was a little hard to find. It's off the street behind some trees. We noticed it after passing it by initially. The interior is very clean and updated. Our code to get in the room worked great the first day, but the next day it didn't work at all. We were finally able to get in with the help of the management company. Overall it was a good stay.
