Woodland Escape with Stunning Riverfront Views

  • This comfortable, updated home sits alongside the Betsie River. It boasts a screen room for fresh air. There is also a 3 season room for relaxing and watching the river. Many folks canoeing down the river have exclaimed, "You have the best water frontage on this river!" With a wide, easy walking path to the river's edge, it is easy to enjoy over 400 ft of private frontage. A campfire next to the river, swimming or fishing are regular activities. A deep, popular fishing hole is an easy cast from the grass. Sit at the river's edge in the sun, or in the shade from the trees. Sit around an outdoor bonfire while watching the river.

    Crystal Mountain resort is a two minute drive. Sleeping Bear Dunes is a 40 minute drive. Multiple golf courses are a short drive. Any questions, please call me 616-218-1301.

The house was just what we wanted - beautiful setting, clean and well furnished. It was close to skiing and the roads were easily passable. We had a wonderful stay.

The home was beautiful and our winter hike by the river was so peaceful, and it was conveniently close to Crystal Mountain for us to take a break from skiing. We will definitely stay here again!

This is a fantastic place, tucked away in the woods but also close to everything. We stayed here while enjoying a weekend of skiing at Crystal Mountain- it was close to the mountain, very clean, had everything we needed, and the views of the trees covered in snow were magical. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

This was our third time staying at this house since 2023 and we had a nice stay again! My family with two kids and my in-laws share the house. There's plenty of room for everyone and we appreciate having the second bathroom and the bedroom upstairs for the kids. We love that the house allows us to relax in the woods next to the river but it's also close to the beaches, Beulah, Frankfort etc Thanks for another nice stay!

A wonderful, peaceful cabin in the forest by the river. We had an absolutely lovely time. The house was very clean and has everything you need. Perfect vacation for any season.

Perfect for Crystal Mountain skiing and family evenings

The property is located in perfect proximity to the skiing resort and is very clean and well organized, and has truly everything needed for a wonderful winter get away

Great location in proximity to Crystal Mountain Resort where colleagues and I attended a work event.Secluded and private setting along the river. Would be a great spot for those looking to enjoy nature, do some fishing or other outdoor activities.Spacious rental with 5 beds, 2 baths.

An easy process from start to finish! We were there for the weekend to attend a wedding at a local venue. We couldn't have asked for better communication, even letting us check in early so my grandson could get unpacked and attend the Friday night rehearsal dinner. Thank you Bill and Holly for sharing your home! We only regret not having enough time to enjoy some fishing and use the fire pit by the river. A very nice home/location for anyone looking to stay in the area.Darlene W.

Great spot on the Benzie River! Great for a large family, three couples, any small group looking for a peaceful setting in beautiful northern Michigan.

Beautiful and Relaxing

Our short weekend stay was peaceful and the cabin was cozy for the fall weather! We really enjoyed the short walk to the river and being able to fish without having to leave the cabin property!

Great Weekend Away

We had a wonderful stay at this home. It was perfect for our 2 families. Close to Crystal for skiing and down the road from the distillery. We would come again in the winter or summer.

Stayed here for a work conference nearby. Very beautiful property. Would have loved to spend more time enjoying it. Owners have great communication.

Very nice site!

This was a perfect location for our annual trip to the region. The property had a fire pit we used every evening. House furniture was very comfortable. Went fishing and ate at local restaurants. Perfect weekend with friends.
