Charming ADK Retreat Walking Distance to Town and River

Charming ADK 3 bedroom, 1 bath with bonus room. The interior is warm and inviting making it a perfect place to relax, reconnect, and make memories. The home has beautiful open beams and woodwork that provides a true Adirondack experience with all the modern conveniences. Located directly across the street from the moose river you are able to sit and enjoy your coffee on the front porch or sit around the fire pit. The Toby bike trail is down the street making it an excellent spot to bike right from the house into town. A drop in area for kayaking is also down the street within a blocks walking distance by the green bridge area.

Must be atleast 25 years of age to book, this is a quiet neighborhood. no smoking, no large parties or events, no pets. Linens and towels are not included. Guest expected to empty all trash from house and take it with them, Town transfer station 1/2 mile from camp. Camp is in compliance with new Town of Webb rental laws. New foosball table in sunroom , cornhole game boards provided. No additional fee at transfer station

Spruce Moose exceeded our expectations!

The Spruce Moose was more than perfect for me and my 20 y.o. son during our long weekend (3-night) stay. It exceeded our expectations! Check-in & communications with Melissa were easy and excellent. It’s very spacious and well equipped, updated & appointed. You can tell the owners take great pride in their property. We didn’t use the 2nd floor bedroom, which would be great for kids - just the 2 downstairs bedrooms. We used the front porch in mornings and evenings. Fire pit in the front yard and propane grill in the back. Quiet Adirondack wooded neighborhood. Close to Thendara & Old Forge. We always drove. Moose River nearby. Short walk/drive to Green Bridge where you can launch kayaks in the Moose River. We’d return to the Spruce Moose in a heartbeat! Thank you!

My family had a fantastic stay at the Spruce Moose! The house was charming and clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped, there were fun games for rainy days, and there were thoughtful touches in every room to make the stay comfortable and convenient. The location is a quiet setting on a friendly street, private but still near lots of great attractions like hiking and the water park. We enjoyed seeing wildlife in the yard from the sunroom and spent time relaxing on the lovely front porch. Communication with the owner and property manager was great every step of the way. We can’t recommend this enough.

Perfect 4th of July weekend

The cabin was adorable and the perfect size for me, my husband, his brother and his brother's wife. The location was close to town, but felt like you were in the woods. We spent alot of time on the front porch watching for wildlife.

Excellent! Definitely would stay again.

My 9 year old son and I spent a few days in the Old Forge area. This property was perfect - amenities, privacy and location were great. The managers of the property were amazing - available for any questions and helpful for guidance on visiting the area. A quaint, rustic, down to earth vibe - very comfortable!! We will be back!

Amazing Property and Hosts!!

Absolute pleasure to work with our hosts and their managment partners. Property was beautiful and the wild life passing by was nothing short of memorable. Property was very clean and well maintained, our communication with our hosts was very enjoyable and they made it their priortiy to be accomodating and ensure our stay was perfect. Wonderful cabin for a family vacation

We had a wonderful time staying at this cabin. We really appreciated the help from Melissa and Scott, the caretakers--they are wonderful. The cabin was clean and charming and provided more than enough relaxing space for us. My daughters enjoyed sleeping in the loft, playing foosball, and seeing deer in the backyard and a bear across the street. The location was very convenient to the grocery store and restaurants in Old Forge. Would love to stay here again.

Cozy place!

We came here for a few days during the solar eclipse. Melissa and scott, the care talkers, were very sweet and attentive. A car accident had actually knocked out power to the whole town just before we showed up, but the place has a generator so we still had everything! cabin is a10 minute walk from town which was really fun to explore! We saw a mama and baby deer in the back yard on day 1. The kids (9 &14) could not get enough of the Foosball table and the adults discover the ring & hook game on the front porch while having coffee in the morning, it became a whole tournament! This place felt so cozy and inviting, it really was a home away from home.

Love this place!

This was our 3rd time staying here and it never disappoints! We love the open living space, the kitchen is well-appointed and has everything you need for cooking and even baking. We love sitting on the covered front porch, making a fire in the fire pit and having s’mores. The gas grill is a fantastic new addition. The home is always clean. We just love spending our long weekends in the ADK here. The owner, Brian, is very quick to respond and the caretakers, Melissa and Scott, are super friendly and always check in prior to arrival as well as upon Checkin for anything needed. We will be back next year!!

Great place to gather!

This is a beautiful property---well appointed, with lovely decor and modern applicances. It has everything you need and then some. We enjoyed the proximity to hiking in the Adirondacks and kayaking on the Moose River. The home has a full kitchen and plenty of space for our party of four adults. We enjoyed the fire-ring out front and I loved the hammock in back for afternoon reading/napping. Quiet street, walking distance to fun downtown area. On our first night there (very rainy) we used the cornhole game in the basement, which is set up with patio furniture. All in all, a great place to vacation! A couple of things to be aware of: you must provide your own bedsheets and bath towels. The home has plenty of blankets and pillows, and kitchen towels. Also, you must take trash to the transfer station---be sure to check the hours of this station. They were closed on the day we left so we took our trash with us in the car.

Three comfortable bedrooms. Very clean, even the windows. Good supply of games. Clutter free tastefully decorated as an Adirondack cottage. Good selection of cooking utensils. Very quiet property. 1.8 miles to Enchanted Forest. Could walk to boat rental. Close to markets, including North Country Market for breakfast and lunch sandwiches.Saw deer and baby bear.Nice front porch. Nice kitchen, Island table. Washer and dryer in basement.

Excellent Property!

This was the second time my family and I stayed at this property. Our favorite part about this home is how it really gives the Adirondack feel compared to other properties. Both times we’ve stayed at this property it’s been clean upon arrival and the property managers are friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, 5 minute drive to town, but also definitely walkable. I’d recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in Old Forge!

Great place to stay we will be back!

This place was awesome! We went up for a long weekend with friends of ours and our kids and we all had a blast! Perfect little cabin! Great location. Nice quiet road for the little ones but still close to town. Communication with the owner and property manager couldn’t have been easier! Would recommend to anyone for a visit!

Great vacation spot

This cabin is beautiful! It has all the amenities needed for a convenient vacation. The property is beautiful and allowed us to have bonfires every evening (except for one rainy night). Our kids loved riding their bikes and scooters up and down the driveway, playing in the front yard, on the porch and were comfortable inside as well. This property is close enough to everything to be convenient, but far away enough to feel secluded. Lots of wildlife and quiet. The property managers, Melissa and Scott were helpful and friendly and offered their services at any time if needed. Highly recommend!

Relaxing retreat

Quiet peaceful neighborhood that is perfect for relaxing. The house is close to all the various activities old forge has to offer. Our family made wonderful memories during our stay and hope to come back next year.
