"Lovely clean room with excellent views of the race course. We stayed there for our 25th anniversary. Plenty of parking. Easy to check in by friendly staff. Although when checking out, we had to wait about 10 minutes as member of staff was on the phone. Restaurant was very clean and plenty of room, couldnt get a table for evening meal till 1945, then had to wait about 1 hour for food. Which was lovely. Breakfast was very nice and being a buffet, there was no wait. Would definitely stay again...

"Just there as a stop over whilst we attended a wedding locally but, not at the hotel itself. Very nice, clean and spacious rooms. We did bring our swimming gear but, didn't make it to the pool. We had received a message beforehand about times etc., but maybe something in the room would have helped us to organise ourselves. Breakfast nice, bar food good and staff really friendly. "We had a 0600 flight so booked the night before to stay in the LGW Bloc. Reception staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The Bloc hotel location is perfect for south terminal departures, when checking out you fall straight into departure security. The room, we opted for a window which had a great view of the terminal outside and watching the sunrise was epic. The blackout blinds are automatic and the bathroom whilst small is a wet room with decent shower. Thank you and recommended !"

"The staff were all very good but at times a little pushed to see to everything. Our room was roomy but not particularly clean, cobwebs on windows, dirt and dusty skirting and all areas upon high had a good layer of dust. One bulb out at bedside and marks on wall and skirting that could be wiped off. Bed linen and towels were clean and soft. Shower and sink clean but toilet was not!!! Passage way to and from dining room smelt of cooking grease all the time that would suggest extractor filters...

"We stayed here overnight as our flight was delayed and arrived near the midnight. There is a shuttle at Gatwick platform 9 (south terminal) that will take you to this hotel for £5. The check in was straight forward and easy. The room was super clean with comfortable bed and quiet. Highly recommend for any overnight stay and easy access to Gatwick."

"The staff was pretty pleasant when we arrived. The check-in was quick. I think the only issue that I really had is that one they don’t offer face towels. To wash your face. There was no refrigerator in the rooms and we had a special-needs child, nonverbal and we needed a refrigerator in the room. We had to utilize ice back to keep his food cold. It was a quick stay."

"The hotel corridor was very dark, the room was dark, couldnt see to put key card in. Lighting in the room was bad. No light over unit where tea and coffee facilities were. Had to use my phone to see some light switches."

"Th Leicester Inn is a very old listed property and as such has some wonderful aspects giving it great character. Being old and listed also means that modern features like double glazing and air conditioning are not present and we stayed on one of the hottest days of the year. Our room was very hot but a fan was provided and we were able to have an open window. There is a good size car park at the rear of the Inn. Food and service were superb."
