"The entire hotel decorating is warm, cozy and beautiful. We enjoyed the breakfast and the lounge room with fireplace. I enjoyed reading one of the books in the lounge while I drank coffee and ate a warm biscuit. Maggie was an outstanding hostess. It felt more like a high end bed and breakfast than a hotel. It was a memorable stay. We took photographs of the decorating because we wanted to remember some of the layers of color and texture."

"They are supposed to be crediting me back 1/2 of my last night. Stayed for 4 days and they never once cleaned my room even after I complained multiple times. We have stayed there countless times over the last 3 years but they have completely changed and it is terrible. "

"This is nice if expensive boutique hotel minutes from Harvard Square with underground parking. Our room was comfortable and luxurious. There is free excellent pod coffee (not Keurig) in the lobby and they will valet your car in and out of the garage which is a good idea given then narrow spiral driveway. The location is 5 minutes from Harvard Yard and close to many restaurants. Great for a Harvard reunion."

"Used this hotel for new balance nationals in Feb. walked to the meet every day. It was a bit of a hike but nothing too crazy. Loved the room. Nice and clean and loved the crushed ice and water option on the ice machine. Also loved that there was a noise machine in the room, a decent breakfast and billiards table and pretty art in the lobby!"

"Room was clean, staff friendly and helpful, and property was 20 minutes from downtown Boston. Easy walk to Watertown damn & park and several restaurants. For a budget motel I would recommend this one."

"Located in Brookline, a very nice neighborhood within walking distance of shops and local restaurants. The local rail line was easy to access, as was downtown Boston. The room I had was perfect, the type I prefer for this type of lodging. For a single or a couple, the price was affordable. I plan to stay when back in the Boston area."
