"Clean room and great staff"

"There was nothing that I didn’t enjoy at this hotel. The cleanliness of the hotel room along with the gathering places was superb. Breakfast had multiple selections of well made options. We were so pleased with our 1 night stay!"

"I was very impressed with the physical property and the staff. The back terrace is wonderful. Only small issues. For those of us who are older a magnifying mirror or a light over the hall mirror would be helpful for makeup. Also, the breakfast choices could be updated a little. Perhaps croissants and fresh fruit?"

"The property was undergoing major renovations during my stay, so guests had to use a side door most of the time, and there was a lot of dust, dirt and debris on the main floor, especially around the entrances, and dumpsters and construction vehicles in the parking lot. There was also a food service delivery, via tractor trailer, at 5:30am, that unloaded, loudly, at the main entrance for about 30 minutes, just below my third floor room the first morning I was there. "The place is falling apart and is terribly maintained. The room was dirty, the shower didn’t work, it smells, I would never recommend it to anybody. I put up with it because I had no other choice since I was traveling with my daughter and we arrived late at night. Left the next morning as fast as I could."

"Musty room, very noisy air conditioner, but not noisy enough to drown out the next room’s loud TV, which began at 3am and continued until I finally gave up and left at 6. Also, a surprising quantity of long curly hair was on the bathroom floor and stuck to the wall. Overall, a totally uncomfortable and non-restful experience. One doesn’t pay $100 for a room in which to lie awake for hours."

"Location is right off of I-80. Staff is friendly Ample parking. Room was clean but a touch of room freshener would have made it pleasant. Breakfast options were good."

"The hotel was beautifully decorated and clean. The divided queen room with shared bathroom was perfect for two women traveling together. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety of options. If you aren’t an early riser, ask for a room not facing east as the sun is bright and comes through the plantation shutters early and strong."

"I have stayed at this property many times but this is the first time since it became a Travelodge. The experience was not so good. Upon check in they demand an HSF Eco fee of $2. Not a lot, but the Expedia fee is supposed to include all taxes and fees. The property seems to have many long term residents with BBQ outside their rooms. The gardens don't seem to be maintained. I think there are other choices nearby that may be better."

"I wish the toilets were a little higher. People with bad knees have trouble standing up from a lower bent position. I didn’t like that the AC cycled off and on during the night. I like it cold to sleep and even with the setting at 68 it got warm enough to have to remove the heavy blanket. The height of bed was difficult to get into for someone who is not tall with bad knees and back. The woman at the desk was excellent in coming up to our room to show us how to use the remote. "A couple of minor issues - when I checked in there was a cigarette butt on the floor and almost no toilet paper. Other than that, the room was fine and a good value."
