Lovely cabin feel close enough to everything

Wr stayed here while hiking Smith Rock and checking out the surrounding area. The site was lovely and the management was a pleasure to deal with.

We arrived earlier than planned. Samantha was very accommodating getting us into our room. We were impressed with how clean and comfortable the room was. Our bed was so comfortable! We can’t say enough good things about our stay. Definitely staying here again

Very unique stay in a great location!

I wish we had more time here! It was beautiful and there is so much to do on the property and within a short drive. I loved the cute little half yurt we stayed in. It had everything we needed and the pool access was a plus.

This property is located in a very nice area, if you play golf the course looks to be well maintained and interesting. The surrounding area cliffs and sunsets are a 10. There's many paths that can be walked or mountain biked to see better views of the cliffs. I would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful, quiet location with walking and hiking nearby. We didn't realize how remote this sight was so were unprepared for having no services available after our evening arrival. The office closed soon after arriving, so no access to ice, as did the resort services and store, so no food or drink. Guests should be warned to come prepared.

Nicest overnighter

Want to thank management for giving us the best overnight room. Accommodations were as expected. Easy access to room. Arises in an to a wonderful serene deck view of Smith Rock; hot air balloon, and plenty of fauna running and flying about. Beautiful sunrise; best was no rain!! Thanks Room has great coffee mix..

Good accommodations

We stayed one night and it was a good experience. The rooms are on the smaller side but adequate. The property is right on a golf course and evidently there is access to the community swimming pool as well. There is a bar/restaurant and a coffee/breakfast place right there as well. I must admit that there was very little information on the listing and I had very little idea about the facilities before getting there.

Nice place when on a budget.

Nice yurt style units with two rooms in each. Rooms are “cozy” and clean. Linens were clean. Front desk was friendly although hours are limited to 10 am to 6 pm. Our television didn’t work and internet service was spotty. However we didn’t come to central Oregon to sit in our room. Got some great photos of the landscape around the resort.

Two thoughts................

Compared to many places I have stayed, the check in time of 4 pm, feels a bit late for a weary traveler. But for a "mere" $50.00 more I could have had early check in, of which I declined. It was not crowded, nor were there any folks scrambling to clean as far as I could tell. The room was very hot and stuffy, in part due to the direction of the late afternoon sun which shone into the one large window and the sliding glass door.. The shade curtains WERE drawn, but still the room was very hot. The air conditioner just could not handle all that bright sun/heat. I would highly suggest that when a room is booked, the cooling (or heating) source be ready to accommodate the guest with a comfortable temperature. The note on the air conditioner reminded us NOT to turn it to high, because it would freeze up and not work at all. Aside from these two thoughts, the room was very nice.

We appreciated the pool but somewhere in booking, there should have been information letting us know it was a community pool rather than a hotel pool. it was packed with kids and no room to swim which we'd been looking forward to. And the pool closed at 7 pm....really? At a resort with 90 degree temps, they close the pool at 7? The restaurant was supposedly open at 9:30 am for breakfast, but staff did not let us in until 10, and then we had to wait until 10:30 to get our breakfast (and we were the only ones in the restaurant). Expensive and not very good. Although we had dinner the night before and it was very tasty. The golf course (beautiful) but on Monday night, the person at the desk wouldn't let us go out after 4:00, and yet on Tuesday they were letting people go out (with carts) after 5:30 pm. This place has the potential to be a journey destination and make a lot of money, but management needs to step up their game. If the restaurant opened at 6 am, we believe the place would be filled with golfers, and those staying in the resort would go to the pool if it was open following a golf game. The hotel is old, but adequate for sleeping, showering, relaxing, and is very clean. Check in and check out is easy and the staff is delightful. The AC works well, but for people who book 2 to a room, for more than 1 night...put full rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom --1 roll per day of stay.

Was waaaay out there. Lots of stuff to do if you are staying a week or so but inconvenient for an overnight stay. It was a real challenge finding it.

I liked that it wasn't in a big building. I liked the large windows and view and the patio. My dog was very happy that he could be with us. I had no contact with anyone so I can't report on friendliness etc. I didn't like that there was only hot water in the sink. Shower was nice. A larger waste can or another smaller one would be nice as we brought some of our own food. I also didn't like that it wasn't shared that it was only half of a yurt. It was smaller then I liked for the 3 of us and a dog. It was doable but I was surprised. I was very impressed with the cleanliness. That was appreciate. I thought there was a swimming poole available?
