* Very secure property entrance * Staff were friendly and helpful * Rooms and public spaces immaculately decorated in a trendy and classy aesthetic * The bed, duvet and pillows were very comfortable and cosy * Unfortunately no tea/coffee facilities in the room * Bathroom had 2 lighting options which meant low or high lighting could be used * Shower pressure and temperature could have been better * Parlour Cafe was bright and fresh * However the milk was off so unable to have cereal or add cold milk to drinks

I stayed at the property for one night with my sister for a girly overnight break during my visit back to my homeland of Scotland. Our family is from Glasgow and I know the city well. The stay was fine. Room got the job done with a good high quality bed and pillows and hot, high pressure shower. Beyond that, it was a bit underwhelming. There was no tea in the tea point of the room, I had to call down to request bath robes, and the room door had no draft excluder — the door was so high off the floor we could see the hallway carpet pattern from inside our room. The staff were apathetic, the check in guy barely looked at us and did not tell us about the Expedia VIP perk I knew we were entitled to. We didn’t feel terribly welcome so we just went out and didn’t even bother asking about it. All in, 2/5 and I would not be back.
